Cashier check was rejected after nine days
I deposited a cashier's check for $2,400 at my branch and the teller said it would clear in two business days. Nine days later the bank rejected it and sent the money back, even though the issuing bank confirmed it was valid. I went back in person and was told to wait for a phone call that never came. The branch manager was polite, but nobody there could give me a real answer.
