Extremely disappointing end to what was a promising start I found the ordering process and communication to be very good indeed and was even allowed to make some size changes to a standard corner shed I chose to upgrade most things such as floor roof and wall thickness and was really looking forward to seeing the new shed in place When I returned home to see what had been installed I was horrified by the sheer lack of any finesse in the finishing There were splits and gaps and bits of off-cut boarding just roughly nailed around the front edge of the roof with huge gaps and appalling joints There were rough cut edges on the door and around the door opening so bad that my son got a bad splinter opening the door I had daylight showing through gaps in the upgraded floor and also in splits in the walls Just when I thought I had found all the defects I came across a 10mm hole in the one piece rubber roof that had obviously been noticed by the installation guys as they had covered it in glue As you can imagine I was really not happy but had no choice other than to repair the roof myself with a puncture repair kit and then go off to B Q and purchase some timber to put right the mess that I was left with If i had time on my side i would have complained and left it for them to put right but I needed it finished and weathered asap When I did complain I was simply told You have got a shed that looks exactly the same as the pictures on the web and if you had given us a chance we would have repaired the roof Why leave it like it then I asked them to reimburse the 90 I spent at B Q but they refused quite bluntly and I ve not heard any more from them Their level of customer service is about as good as their build qualityI am so very angry and extremely disappointed this cost me over 2000Just wish I had built my own from scratch would have been a far better job and only half the price

Unfortunately this company s drivers leave a lot to be desired racing around country lanes undertaking on dual carriageways and cutting cars up at roundabouts 10 days ago I was driving with my daughter who has recently passed her test and is driving with a P plate on her car One of their drivers undertook her going into a roundabout and then cut across her Later we realised that he had grazed the bumper of her car As soon as we got home I telephoned to complain and spoke to a person claiming to be the MD - Alan Church - who promised he would speak to the driver check the log and call me back the following day I did not receive a call I telephoned again today - still no phone call from Alan Church I would be VERY hesitant to use this company due to the driver s aggressive behaviour and the MDs lack of concern UPDATE Since posting this review I have received a very angry phone call from Alan Church he responded to the review but not the original phone call The sole reason for Alan Church s call was to berate me for having the temerity to write this review NOT a single word of apology or contrition for his driver s shocking lack of care and attention Your shout but I think this this speaks volumes about the company

Had a poor experience with this company Filled in a form shortly after making payment online regarding the accessibility of my house filled it in accurately and never heard from the company until the scheduled delivery date That morning they called to ask me about the access which I described as I did on the form only for them to tell me they won t come as they did not know before that they had to cut pieces for which there is a cut down charge of 60 It was unprofessional as they could have let me know about this well in advance Nevertheless I made the payment as I needed the shed as soon as possible and they came On the reschedule day the installation people looked like they didn t want to be there It was raining but the manager on the phone afterwards told me they do install in rain The worst thing on the day was the workmanship The installation people were rushing the job and this resulted in nails missing the wood so they protruded dangerously There were big gaps in some places where pieces should have been flush If there was one good thing I could say is that the quality of the wood is good Thats about it really In the end they agreed to refund the 60 and acknowledged this mistake but it was a lot of unecessary stress

Unfortunately my experience of the this company is terrible After paying over 1000 for my shed and asking for the installation date to be moved 7 days my order was cancelled and refunded without letting me know To make it worse I cut my holiday short by a week so i could be back for their original date took additional time off work and had unpacked and sold my old shed On the day of installation 3 months after i had paid for it i called to find out what time they would arrive and was told that my order had been cancelled No apology for their screw up but was told that they would try and sort something out 2 weeks later and after me sending several other emails there is nothing from them I wish i had ordered from a decent company who actually gave a stuff about their customers but i suppose we are just a number to people like these I am sure that there will be some half arsed reply about this review how it was not their fault blah blah blah All i can say is that they screwed up cost me my holiday and a load of problems and don t even have the common decency to try to sort it out They should ashamed of the way they treat their customers

Shed quality not great finish left a fair bit to be desired too flimsy timber to make georgian style windows that fall off and not matched on the inside so from inside out the windows look naff Install was poor lots of minor issues protruding nails everywhere footprints all over the timber splitting timber warped timber doors not closing properly and a few major ones onduline roofing split large gaps in veranda Raised issue with Ace Sheds and they attended quickly to attempt to address the issues but many of the issues were not addressed they did the bare minimum and anything in the too difficult bracket wasn t addressed They said they would return to replace overlay a new veranda floor for us we are still waiting for the replacement veranda floor promised to be installed by end of August last year I have been chasing them since September by e-mail by phone by leaving these reviews but they are not responding Having spent thousands of pounds on a Tonbridge Summer House with Veranda I would expect better customer care AVOID 12 3 21 - Still no response from them despite their promise to do so in their reply below - no surprises there Lets see if they respond to the finance company who I ve filed a complaint to and asked to cease my payments with Shocking it has to come to this despite spending over 3K with them

I did give this 5 stars but after a few months the shed looked terrible and customer service was disgraceful Spots of what looks like mould When I went back to ace sheds they said this was normal and I could paint the shed The reason I got an apparently pre treated she s is I wanted a natural colour and didn t want to paint it Looks unsightly and the metal that is stored in there swings weights went rusty very quickly

Haven t even got to the point of ordering a shed from this company Seems they must have enough business as they do not answer the phone return voicemails or requests for contact on their online contact us form Very disappointed as their sheds on website look like good quality

I am unable to recommend Ace Sheds Quality of shed is poor compared to cheaper brands Shed is not water tight butterfly catches still not fitted two months after shed installed After sales service non existent I ve given up trying to get the shed I paid for

Absolutely rubbish service Poor quality My daughter injured her finger at the sticking nails day after shed was installed 7 nails was sticking uncovered inside the shed Complained to ace shed but no action was taken regarding our health and safety Avoid Order no 100283 Quick update Unfortunately the company manipulating with customers and not even trying to solve the matter

Totally understand issues with the current Covid-19 outbreak but no response from anyone is not good for business Your answering machine says to email and you will respond in hours or at most a day We have wasted a week now and will look elsewhere
