Annual boiler service

I would have given 5 stars however I wasn t given any written confirmation that the service was done Also the engineer left the heating off which meant the house was freezing before I realised that the system had been changed

Very good service

The engineer who serviced my boiler was friendly and professional No complaints with the engineer However to give people a slot from 8am to 5pm is ridiculous You should be able to give a morning or afternoon slot I requested an early as possible appointment No request had been noted There is no consideration for people working who have to take a full day off work rather than a half day to get a service done to their boiler

Went as expected

Shortly after I made the appointment for an engineer to come and service my boiler the engineer telephoned me to give me a time slot on the day On the day I was contacted 30 minutes before the engineers arrival The engineer was friendly polite professional and with no mess left The only down side was that he could not attend to the plumbing work he advised was needed being a boiler engineer and not a plumber - this I knew

Great Customer Service

Had problems with this hybrid boiler and heat pump at first Alpha have been out and cleaned and reset the system Alpha were not the original installers and at the moment my house is warm and rads are hotter than they have been since installation So am reserving the last star on the 5 star rating to see how it performs now I have to say though Alpha engineers and customer service are really knowledgeable and couldn t have been more helpful

Have had this new combi boiler fitted

Have had this new combi boiler fitted to our underfloor heating system and have had a couple of visits from the customer service team regarding to me excessive noise from the boiler when in action and this time the engineer might have helped get rid of some of it although time will tell The engineer called once before but he said that he hadn t come across one of the newest at that time so couldn t be sure and would check back This visit he returned and replaced the circuit board and did a couple of adjustments and said to see if that was better Hopefully it will be better than before

Excellent after care service The only reason for dropping a star is that initial installation and set up seems to be very fiddly and complicated

Engineer came when he said Was thorough and informative Alpha could improve communication my service was well overdue no reminder prompt was received
