Called yesterday as my boiler is under warranty was told someone would call me within 2-3 days Advised I have children in the house then again was advised someone would call me today Still waiting for a call Absolute shambles of a company To be left without heating or hot water for over 24hrs in these temperatures is just unacceptable Would not recommend this company to anyone

Awful company a faulty boiler from day 1 and now two engineer visits later in a worse situation than when we started Happy to leave an elderly couple in their 90s with no heating as they don t seem to keep sufficient stock of parts for their own boilers Never phone back when they say they are going to spent hours on hold to get through to customer service and complaints department can t even be bothered to reply

Very disappointed this morning as can not get through on phoneline 15 in queue at 9 30 am 10 15 am no 9 12 00 noon tried again 17 in queue Issue with boiler pressure no heating Both pensioners husband has COPD Issue resolved with local gas safe engineer Boiler under warranty and service plan Awful service Alpha was recommended when changing boiler really sorry now as this is not the service we require when there are problems

We have paid for Alpha Heating Innovation boiler cover since 2020 and have never called them out with an issue Yesterday we realised the boiler was leaking water and we had no hot water or heating We tried calling Alpha Heating Innovation only to discover they do not take calls in Sundays We called this morning We were told they would contact their planning department from which they would get a response in 1-2 days after which an engineer would be in contact in another 1-2 days but they HOPE to have someone out by the end of the week that will give me a total of at least 5 DAYS WITH NO HEATING OR HOT WATER I highlighted they had also missed us in their yearly boiler service as until now we hadn t realised they hadn t made contact despite us paying for this yearly service and was helpfully told THERE MUST BE A GLITCH IN THE SYSTEM AND AT THIS TIME OF YEAR BOILER SERVICES ARE PUT ON HOLD I was told WE ARE NOT AN EMERGENCY BOILER SERVICE therefore we won t come straight out to help despite not keeping to the contract we ve paid for and not serviced our boiler for over a year The company only has 80 employees yet we re having to wait 1-2 days for the planning department to respond AVOID this company at all costs they ve taken our money for 4 years haven t provided a boiler service despite us paying for this and are not responding to have an engineer out within a week but they are hopeful Also a manager was going to call me back today im still waiting

I had an alpha etec28 installed 6 months ago and it has stopped working So I phoned Alpha and asked for help My installer said he was going to register the boiler which I thought he meant the warranty but he only registered the gas safe certificate and alpha now refuse to do anything to help and are quite happy to leave me and my 11 year old son with no hot water or heating which I fund absolutely unacceptable I will never use alpha again

Unsatisfactory warranty service Had an Alpha E-Tec NX 28kW boiler installed through boilercentral com in June 2024 Stopped working on 11 November 2024 Called boilercentral who passed on the problem to Alpha Called Alpha customer services who said they have a 2 day service commitment and had passed the job to Easyheat engineer who would call Declined to give their number for GDPR reasons 5 days later no contact Called Alpha and spoke to a agent who said they cannot do any service on weekends Without heat and water I would call an outside engineer but that may invalidate the warranty Non functional warranty and aftercare service Eventually 6 days later after Alpha escalated the engineer attended the problem Read the other 1 star reviews here - all to do with service issues Buyer beware

Arranged date for engineer to do annual service Then received a call to give another different date Sorted this to original date Day or two later receive letter reminding me boiler service due On day of arranged visit Alpha rang to cancel engineer had damaged hand That was OK and arranged for visit on other date originally given between 08800 and 1200 Engineer arrives late does service and leaves us without central heating Ring Alpha service department and get CH working Discussing fact pressure left by engineer well below green Guy on end of phone not interested and cut my call

Terrible customer service extremely rude staff had to ring 4 times over 3 months finally requested my full yearly subscription back in order just to get a yearly boiler service that I had paid for and it s already 3 months over due due to there lack of interest in getting it booked finally done today engineer who carried out service polite and professional

Please don t buy this boiler it is the worst boiler I ever had For the last 5 years we had several different problems When it was under guarantee they would replace the parts however once that stops the parts are very expensive to replace I had my heat exchanger cleaned out several times but never replaced Now the guarantee is finished they recommend replacing the heat exchanger Every year since we had this boiler we had our shower going from freezing cold or burning hot they clean out the heat exchanger but not replace it They said I need a power flush with independent plumber so I did What they didn t advise was to get a filter placed too so it just keeps on happening every year Now the guarantee is expired we pay for new parts and labour Every year I must have spend roughly 700-800 on this issue plus the time effort and unnecessary stress Please go and buy yourself a reliable Worcester boiler

Poor service Waited 2 weeks to get an appointment with an Engineer Paid the money up front and constantly had to chase them for a date to get someone out When the plumber attended he didn t even attempt to fix the boiler and we had to pay the service charge even though the Engineer didn t bother to fix the issue The 1 time fix they offer is a terrible plan They out source any Engineer they can and say they re trained with Alpha systems and carry all the parts but this is definitely not the case Would not recommend there services to anyone
