After using Andertons for probably 12 years now and spending thousands on guitars amps cabs etc I have been let down by customer service Cutting a long story short my last purchase was a Victory v4 sheriff amp costing 850 compared to a hundred less at other stores around the country I was told that the only one they had was the opened shop floor demo one and at no reduced price I purchased this and payed using my normal method with close brothers finance over 12 months Well there is nothing wrong with the priduct it s just not for me and I couldn t try it out anywhere in my area so I took the plunge and went ahead I would say it s been used twice since I purchased it back in October 2023 I contacted Andertons because I knew they do trade ins especially as I purchased it from them two months previously I have my eye on a marshall sv20 head small but I think would tick all the boxes they offered me 360 back against the marshall sv20 head retailing around the 870 mark Now I would of expected better than that 500 loss in the victory in 2 months Now I have since found out that Mr Anderton actually owns the victory company never knew that until I googled it And i also now know victory second hand depreciation prices are terrible and will stay clear of that make from now Now I realize they have to make a profit as well but didn t they make that the first time I bought it Anyway I had to write this review because I think the company is unfair to loyal customers and I wouldn t touch them again weeks later and all I can see is bad customer service Support your local music shops musicians Don t buy online go in and try your next purchase out in person money grabbing companies don t give a damn about you

Poor service Pre-ordered item I knew was not in stock so willing to wait the 4 weeks Since then Anderton s have advised me of new delivery dates 4 times - now 9 weeks after order The last date provided has not been satisfied but no further contact or explanation for the delay Very disappointed Avoid

Awful Bought a new guitar which was damaged factory issues so clearly wasn t checked before being sent I contacted them and they said they d fully QC the replacement before shipping Received the second guitar and again factory issue damage So i contacted again and got the reply of yes it should have been qc d blah blah blah So they offered 20 credit the rrp was 1699 or something Basically Andertons TV and Andertons really don t seem to be the same The image they sell themselves as having doesn t seem to exist Bought from guitar guitar and had a mint service so will stop using Andertons like my others have

Made 2 orders on consecutive days and paid next day delivery for both because the items were needed desperately for the weekend Neither parcel turned up customer service raise inquiry with the crap fest that is DPD to only email back what you can read yourself via the DPD website parcel tracker Anyway I had to do a 2 hour round trip Saturday morning to another city to buy items I needed in person at a different retailer and they weren t cheap Andertons customer service just email our apologies instead of solving the issue One parcel arrived over a week late The other is still missing Over the years I ve spent around 8000 here but won t be using again

The product came in a damaged box and the headphones were also damaged with very poor sound quality On trying to return them twice they sent DPD on you dont need a label they will bring one service and twice they didnt have a label so left without collecting then today DHL have failed to turn up when they should have done Just a very poor all round experience

Really let down by Andertons who promised a definitive delivery date for an item needed for a gig and ordered well before actual day and which I could have collected from Andertons or ordered elsewhere When it didn t turn up on the promised delivery date I was informed there had been a glitch in a system and that the order hadn t even been dispatched What a load of tosh So here I am angry disappointed and left high and dry with nothing but an insincere mumbled apology Andertons seem to have lost their way Time to shop elsewhere I think

Quality control is non existent It seems several users on here have had the same experience as I have 1000 bass was badly put together with loose knobs and bad spray job I was offered 20 in loyalty vouchers so I actually had to buy more from them Never had any issues from the bigger German shop and customer service is far superior

I ve just ordered a Sire S3 and T7 from Andertons and yet again I m very disappointed What is up with their QC This is the second time I ve had a guitar from them and this is the second time it s arrived in an unacceptable condition It arrived like it had just been chucked in the box The tags were not on it the sticker had been removed on the pick guard the tools and trem arm were flying about in the box all loose and it was wrapped like a child had done it I haven t even opened the other one as they are both being sent straight back That s me done with Andertons Come on this isn t good

Very poor customer service Item delivered not as described or is defective They want to charge for a return and refund insinuating I m too stupid to know what guitar I own Reports to authorities are incoming Id avoid or get ripped off

I bought drum stick from them 1 month ago it broke only after using it a few times Customer service replied saying they are not taking responsibility for this drum sticks quality issue I have had drum sticks from the same manufacturer they last for at least 1 year for me so this may well be an odd defect with this stick However Anderstons is completely unhelpful won t deal with it I definitely won t buy anything from Anderstons again
