Ordered direct off their website and paid the princely sum of almost 700 for a condenser dryer and integrated fridge for my elderly mother Received a call the next day to say the Condenser dryer had been discontinued and the integrated fridge wouldn t be available in the timeframe stated I immediately requested a refund and 4 days later nothing has materialised I see the response lacks accurate detail to put it politely No discount was offered listen to the voice recording and you ve completely missed the issue of the product not actually being available for sale despite you stating you are The In-Stock Appliance Superstore Further response Appreciate that hovering over a link might provide more detail but that doesn t really work on a phone Also remarkably you still failed to cover the point that the dryer I ordered was no longer available but even more remarkably is still available to order on your website hoover-hle-c9dce-freestanding-9kg-condenser-tumble-dryer-in-whiteFirst challenge to resolve a problem is to accept there is one

They promise something they cannot deliver

Even though their website says available to order this only means available to order but not available How annoying is that After sending them money for something they don t have in stock you then receive an email asking you to call them After asking via email they reply 3 out of 5 items are not available This firm is taking money from customers on the off chance that they have the item in stock Money first goods maybe AVOID THIS COMPANY Reimbursement does not go as quickly as taking the money I am still waiting Update After 3 days I got my money back In the meantime the company challenged my review but since I had evidence of all e-mail communication trustpilot certified my review Think about what this means to the small number of negative reviews Instead of challenging bad reviews I think they should better improve their service

Order cancelled - price of item then increased

Placed an order that was then cancelled was not informed the order had been cancelled only realised when a refund was placed back into my account When I emailed to ask why just got a response saying they don t deliver to my area When I looked on their website nothing is mentioned about restrictions on delivery Oh and the price of the item had been increased

Don t trust the stock status

Really polite customer service so can t fault that but their website is misleading and you cannot trust the information Ordered a freezer which said in stock delivery 3 to 5 days Its not in stock and will be 3 to 4 weeks Suggested another similar one and that would be more than 4 weeks You can hover on the in stock and it states it needs to be ordered however why say 3 to 5 days when you know there s delays in ordering at the moment 5 months we ve been in lockdown that s plenty of time to update a bit of wording on a site Real shame as we have a lot of appliances to purchase over the next few months and we will never shop here again

I purchased a neff 70 30 integrated

I purchased a neff 70 30 integrated fridge freezer from appliance shop Morecomb early February I was unable to get a kitchen fitter to install until yesterday After removing the cardboard box we discovered this 70 30 would not fit Doors where A totally different size I contacted appliance shop there response was the only operate a 14 returns policy I was disappointed they wouldn t exchange for a suitable fitting item I now know that different manufacturers have different sizes for 70 30 fridge freezers I would of thought a reasonable seller would know this and point this out to a buyer Not just sell it I have experienced very poor service from Appliance shop Morecomb

Appliance Shop - Completely USELESS Hard Avoid

Review for Appliance Shop I had an absolutely terrible experience with Appliance Shop After placing my order I was informed that there had been a stock error and that I would face a one-month delay This was frustrating enough but it gets worse Three days before my scheduled delivery I called them to confirm the time and was told there was no stock available To make matters even more ridiculous they informed me that the AEG stock had been delayed even further and wouldn t be available for another month The earliest possible delivery date they could offer was December 18th and that s only if I m lucky and AEG s shipment dates hold So now the week before Christmas I m left without a cooker and I m supposed to trust these jokers and AEG to deliver on time This is completely insane The level of incompetence and poor customer service is beyond belief How can a company operate like this Appliance Shop and AEG have both shown themselves to be unreliable and untrustworthy Very poor performance all around I would not recommend them to anyone Avoid at all costs And yes after scrambling to find an alternative I refunded the order But the entire weeks long saga has been a frapping shambles EDIT To reply to Appliance Shop response There is no other option available This was a 55cm appliance which only 1 or companies sell in 2024 Thats why I waited lol Otherwise I would have dumped you immediately Poor performance comms from your team is the reality You took the money so your inline to deliver That s how you earn the margin

Failed to fulfil contract

Ordered a freezer Website promised next day delivery Shop phoned reneging on this and offering delivery 4 days later Paid for old freezer to be removed Again the shop reneged on this Do not trust their promises - they do not fulfil their contractual obligations Would never buy from this shop again

Microwave delivered broken

Kitchen fitters opened the box a week after delivery to find the glass door of the microwave smashed We contacted appliance shop to arrange a replacement but because we had not checked it with-in 48 hours they refused to take it back We were left with a 300 pound pile of broken glass Life is too short to ever recommend or use the appliance shop Morecombe ever again This company will use any excuse not to fulfil their obligations So be warned

DON T BUY FROM THIS SUPPLIER

Purchased online and required an exchange of product as it was not what we needed Agreed with them the 99 99 return cost Sent them photos showing it was in perfect condition on original foam base and re-packaged washing machine but Appliance Shop said they would deduct an additional 30 of the value as it was not in original packaging They unreasonably wanted to deduct another 100 49 for some missing cardboard I purchased online a washing machine for 349 96 and the cost they were demanding to return it was 200 48 They hid behind their Terms Conditions Unreasonable and disproportianate DON T BUY FROM THIS SUPPLIERI will be taking them to the small claims court for unreasonable behaviour and contravening Consumer Contracts Regulations UK

Very poor customer service

Very poor customer service I purchased a ladder fridge At no point was i advised that this would be a pallet delivery to be left on footpath outside of house Rejected delivery at a cost of 99 99 DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY unless they are local to you Delivery conditions on T C s in red state Customers cannot under any circumstances assist the driver with delivery or handling of anyitems Like majority of people I did not read ALL the small print
