Very hard to get an answer on phone from this company very frustrating

Tried to contact today 20 09 23Rang 3 55pm call awansered 4 05pm put on hold call was cut off5 00pm as office closed 5 00pm brilliant customer service

I have sent so many emails in relation to my policy and not one reply I got a quick reply when I was willing to make a payment to renew my policy but since then absolutely nothing and have emailed the same person I paid my deposit with and also the company s email several times Quite frustrating when you need your query answered

I got self build insurance with them The value of the policy I found was inline with what others offered They are however disorganised and it took me hounding them for the policy docs Phone support is non-existent Overall disappointed and I wouldn t recommend them in the future Edit Don t have facebook

Became their client 7 years after they bought out my previous broker who gave an excellent service Previous renewals were easy because there were no changes and simply involved paying on their web site but this year they recommended a change of insurer So I had to phone them to do this Couldn t get through Eventually discovered that the contact phone number they gave on their letter was incorrect one digit omitted What kind of company does this Much hassle before eventually finding the correct number from their dublin office Got the correct number gave up after being on hold for 30 minutes Tried next day automated message after about 10 minutes promised to phone me back in a hour and yes they did Then got email telling me that policy was incepted subject to me paying them and sending log book etc Did same no acknowledgements I m well educated but I hadn t heard the word incepted before Maybe they meant accepted The dictionary says it s an obsolete word meaning begin fair enough but why not say begin So I want an assurance that I am insured to drive because after two weeks the new certificate has not arrived and my previous insurance has expired So I phone them again I want to hear You are insured Day 1 - 30 minutes holding and gave up day 2 - got the automated response offering to phone me back within an hour - nobody phoned me back Day 3 - holding on for 30 minutes and gave up again Next year I will ring around companies and renew myself Using a broker is supposed to take the hassle out of renewing but this service was well below my expectations

This company is all over the place We had a policy with them 1st year when enacted they failed to provide even the correct policy number so we had to call them so that the breakdown cover could be arranged On the renewal the insurance company attempted to take almost 400 euro without anyone telling us the agent said nothing they then introduce a safe claim person who did absolutely nothing to deal with the case We had to call the other parties insurance company to ask what the next steps were Then we receive an insurance letter which is 1000 euro higher than the policy price they quoted Get everything in writing but to be honest take your business elsewhere They might be the largest broker in the country but they are most probably also the worst

I have been trying to get insurance coverage from Arachas for my house in Dublin for over 6 weeks The person I spoke to was Theresa in New Business then she went on vacation and I received an email saying she was out of office for about a week and a half right in the middle of us emailing each other Her email said to contact Louise and got nowhere with that Then I got Louise s out of office Then Theresa came back and I was ready to pay my premium and when I called was left on hold for over 30 minutes I emailed her and told her and she said she would call me then she said the number was out of service and tried several times That was not possible I had just called Arachas on that number Finally I asked her to send me the code she was using to call the US and guess what she was calling the United Kingdom I told her I lived in the USA She said they don t have time to be looking up codes to call customers I looked up the code for her which took less than a minute and sent it to her Finally she called me back Not too bright The quote she gave me went up by 50 I ended up going with Chill Insurance which was easy as pie My coverage started on the same day
