Quick and easy to book I initially found some of the insurance unclear but fuller explanation was provided later

Booking with Auto Europe was easy

Booking with Auto Europe was a straightforward The only thing I spotted that could be improved was the boot capacity rating Important for holiday makers bringing lots of luggage Some of the numbers seemed it bit odd e g large estates rated to take 2 bags seems pessimistic We found oursleves looking at the car manufacturers sites to find the boot volumes in litres to compare the cars offered

No problem with the booking process as

No problem with the booking process as such but the link to Thrift s Check-In page does not work Don t know whose fault that is However I am a little concerned because our flight arrives quite late in the evening UPDATE We have received a message from AutoEurope effectively telling us not to worry They say that the booking does not show up on the link to Thrifty because we did not book directly with them although we have Thrifty s own booking number Put our minds at rest but still doesn t explain why we were sent the link in the first place

I always use Auto Europe and usually

I always use Auto Europe and usually find it the most helpful and straightforward platform for car hire I had an issue this month where there were 4 options of different insurance with significant cost differentials Yet the description of the top priced two options were exactly the same i called the helpline and whilst they did explain what they thought was the difference it was not entirely clear and they agreed it was not clear on the website

Easy to use website A glitch happened during payment and I received a phone call amazingly quickly to help me finish the transaction

confusing website navigation could be easier

I chose you as Which magazine had Autoeurope as No 2 No 1 didn t operate in Crete Prices were good included extra insurance cover Only problem was how to navigate your website had to look on help page even then it didn t mention that I had to click on show location then actual dealer location to see offers select option I have downloaded vouchers printed off

Booked through laptop not phone

I booked my hire through the website on a laptop as I find it easier to navigate to the company that I want It is also easier to compare prices from each company and find the company you want as trying to navigate on a mobile phone is more difficult that s the reason for 4 stars and not 5
