Got an email that cross-border travel not permitted for this provider but had to call a really unpleasant person to ask for my reservation to be cancelled In addition it would be very logical to provide the filter criteria for cross-border travel in small countries like Austria

Auto Europe found a price from Clickrent car hire very cheap but when I read review s for Click rent I ran a mile terrible comments from others scammers and fraudsters do not use Click rent

Rather disappointing

Rather disappointing After Lufthansa cancelled our flights into Munich 44hrs before departure auto Europe wouldn t amend our booking to pick a car up from Innsbruck 64hrs later So for 4hrs they charged a cancellation fee of 90 they charged the other family 100 so is definitely arbitrary and made up on the spot and didn t even offer to help with the rebooking After double digit years of dealing with them I won t be using them again THE RESPONSE FROM AUTOEUROPE SHOULD GIVE YOU ALL A FLAVOUR OF THEIR CUSTOMER SERVICE Plus on the link sent there is only the option to choose very specific things there s no other options so it s a useless link as it s not appropriate As their message is anonymous what else would we expect there s no way to engage with this organisation

Considering I ve received a feedback form within 12 hours of booking and still not received my actual booking I d think something was wrong with that

We always look to book a vehicle with full to full fuel policy Our booking had this promised however the voucher arrived stating it was an electric vehicle Since we shall be visiting very remote rural locations who almost certainly will not have charging infrastructure this makes the vehicle useless for our purposes and we shall need to cancel our booking unfortunately Clearly the web site needs to be updated to cater for the ever increasing number of electric vehicles

I booked a FIAT 500 ELECTRIC OR SIMILAR MINI CLASS When I arrived at the counter I was informed that there would only be an electric car available The car would have a max range of 200km after which it would need to be recharged for approx 6 hours No good to me as I would be driving more than 200km in one go and also die not want to hunt around looking for charge points So reluctantly no choice but to ugrade at an additional cost of 120 euros Not acceptable tactics to force an upgrade Posting here as no respnse directly from autoeurope

Not a happy experience

I booked by a third party and ended up paying an extra 173 for insurance I was also under the impression I didn t have to top up the fuel with the added insurance A miscommunication with the rep whose English wasn t that understandable and I am not being racist But got charged the fuel plus 18 admin A rip off I wouldn t go through a third party again

The customer may know more than the customer service agent has on their system

crossed purposes what i had on my online screen was different than that at office so lots of mixed messages your system can t keep up so don t speak yo customer as though they re mistaken having to send lots of emails and screen shots to prove i wasn t not very professional I think

Don t choose the package with full damage and theft cover Not valid for the hire company you re directed to Awful email costumer service located somewhere in America not in Europe

Frustrated with your treatment

Frustrated with the treatment I had this time Earlier this morning I received an email in which you were offering to your customers a discount up to 30 before logging in to my account I checked for the prospective booking thereafter I logged to my account in order to complete the booking Surprisingly there was no difference to the rental price It was the same for customers or non customers Being your customer for more than 15 years this treatment is a disappointment
