We are still awaiting the arrival of the computer The company say that the delay is due to demand leading to shortage of parts May be should have had a good stock of parts in predicting the level of demand before putting an offer on to sell

Updated ReviewAfter 7 8 weeks we now have a working PC system with assistance from Charlie As Charlie has stated in his response to the original review much time and effort has been expended with this order but this shows that major issues occurred necessitating such lengthy communications to resolve them Credit to Charlie he has tried to reply to most emails even if a little late However the journey has not been easy and although Bedrock has tried their best its really been to overcome issues within the company Bedrock believes that their goodwill gesture of additional HD capacity is a fair goodwill gesture for the problems around this order But they themselves offered much more and failed to deliver on these I would think that if you let a customer know they are getting some extra bits of kit then that s what happens By not delivering on these only compounds the failures To ensure that the system worked I have purchased a new monitor Wi Fi dongle and numerous cables All part of the original order I paid for the return of replacement items and to date have been partially refunded these costs So original monitor is stored Wi Fi dongles in a box as is the PC Monitor cable that came with the kit As I now have a working system and Bedrock has tried their best I think it fair to improve their star rating to 3 this includes an extra start for Charlies efforts But I would still caution anyone that if the internal systems of Bedrock remain as they are then when issues arise expect a roller coaster ride to get to a final solution End of Updated ReviewA company that s promises much but struggles to achieve those promises Basically a failure from start to finish This is a warning to others think carefully before purchasing from Bedrock Computers Spend time reading the reviews and make up your own mind I ordered a rather simple PC with a confirmed build time of 3 to 4 days The order confirmation did advise that a short delay could be expected due to a high volume of orders After 7 working days I emailed to ask for an update but they simply ignored this After a few more days and further emails still no response Finally an email from Bedrock saying they will despatch by 1st March Next day another email confirming that I was one of a handful who had severe delays in their orders and that if I wished I could contact them for updates or give them an indication of when I required the computer Despite me asking for updates already and having received an email from them saying they were intending despatching the PC Do they know whats happening in their own company It s now 3rd March and still have no idea what is happening or a confirmed shipping date or whats happened but that means nothing to Bedrock Computers they just wish to take your money and provide the lowest standard of service possible with no commitment to customer care despite what they say I would warn anyone thinking of purchasing from Bedrock Computers to think carefully This review is a grudging one star their ethos is admirable their performance abysmal

Didn t build and ship as sold was around 3 days late Outside panel had a dint in it Also cable was loose inside

I was after a pc for my boy who likes gaming I messged them and replied very quick with pcs which would be good for the games he wantdd to play Few days later placed order of a tower and screen as a bundle Following day i got email with 2 tracking numbers First one for tower said yep dpd had collcetdd and it is on its way the other tracking number didnt work emailed and said it was a problem with dpd trackin service anyway The following Friday received 1 package which was the tower Opened it up to check and noticed markings on it After emailing bedrock for them to come back saying they are refurbished case s I had to go on website and hunt where it said this as I wasn t aware when purchasing the item Few days emailed again as still not received the monitorand tracking number still not working Was assured it would be with me soon 11 days later the monitor arrived Have to say packing could been a bit more as had 1 bit of bubble wrap and a bit of cardboard over the screen This was all taped together with parcel tape which when trying to pull off plastic leaves residue of the tape and closer inspection the stand had cracked with the plastic coming away But I had the computer and screen did email about the damage and the packaging they said wouldd replace it But I had waited 11 day for it and my boy just wanted it set up and to be played on couple weeks have passed now since had computer and it has so far been good to there words And can run the games he wanted to play Would been more stars if packages arrived together without the long delay in between when talking about with computer to pick to be made aware they are all refurbished cases and maybe some damage poor packaging - which I did make them Aware of

Arrived damaged had to adjust gpu due to bad positioning and headphones are not recognised Otherwise works perfectly

Tricky experience but resolved now

Soooo I ve edited this review in light of a resolved nightmare I think the overlay of problems was unfortunate and some staffing issues compounded problems BUT it has now been resolved It s clear from our communications that this small business has been let down by some members of their staff and we fell through the gaps a bit which was infuriating I know that as a small business they need reviews that are positive and as a consumer we need reviews that properly reflect the retail experience and products bought so I will keep to the facts Initially we were extremely impressed with Bedrock Computers - they advised and delivered a computer to us for our son s 12th birthday back in June at short notice The monitor was broken so we returned that and bought a better one elsewhere We got the computer up and running a bit clunky but then it stopped working and despite the troubleshooting it needed to be returned Issues with the heat sync being partially detached from the processor mother board so I m told At the beginning of September we returned it and chased for info We received no courier tracking or delivery and no comms after a while On the 16th October I updated my 2 star review on here as comms had stopped entirely No computer No refund On the 20th October Charlie sent us an email and took over our complaint return He explained what had happened computer sent to the wrong address not been returned to them and we received daily emails updating us of his progress On the 26th October we received the working computer Bedrock Computers is a small company run by a couple of helpful people who want to supply you with a great value games PC We ve had a tricky time but I reckon it s been a steep learning curve for them and ultimately we have a great PC that my son loves

3 75 starts

3 75 startsOrdered the pc on the Thursday night and it came on the Tuesday which was really quick and the pc works well aside from the dead CMOS battery but i guess that can be easily replaced The case i paid for wasn t in stock so they replaced it with another case with better ventilation and a free RGB light strip to compensate which was good but cases don t come with a IO shield which I wasn t aware of before ordering They are very supportive when it comes on to helping set up the pc which very helpful for people who aren t knowledgeable about pc s The WIFi adapter came around around 4 days after the pc but unfortunately I am still yet to receive the bluetooth adapter however I have been told its been dispatched Be aware that the wifi adapter is advertised as 300MBP s but its actually 150MBP s so I am getting slow wifi speeds They did offer a solution for me to send back the adapter and then be refunded but this is quite inconvenient for as I use the pc to work and stream and I don t have access to a wired connection for the meantime I really wanted to be able to give 5 starts but some of these l issues have been quite stressful to deal as it s interfering with my ability to work and stream smoothly and I would have brought the adapters elsewhere and saved time for myself

Had some problems with my order but everything got sorted out eventually

I am unsure as to why this company has so many positive reviews as I am certainly not impressed Tried ordering a pc with a white case The website shopping cart kept defaulting to the black case shown as the example Emailed customer support regarding this and got written confirmation that my pc will arrive in a white case On arrival it was in a completely different case altogether which was black After a very long time I was sent a return label and had to take time out to go to the DPD collection point to send it back I then waited another week for a replacement to show up The company owner Charlie offered a slight upgrade to the SSD in compensation stating the upgrade was 30 more then the one I had selected The website shows this upgrade to only be 15 more however This morning the replacement arrived and guess what It was in another completely different case that was BLACK If a company can t get something as simple as this right I am concerned what the build quality will be like I am fuming Ok so several days have passed and Charlie has bent over backwards trying to sort this mess out I now have a white cased PC with a SSD upgrade as compensation for the problems I have had Therefore I have amended my original rating of 1 to a 3
