We all have views on what s happening in Israel I don t want to hear the assistants views when I m trying to buy some work clothes I always visit this store when I visit Edinburgh and have purchased and felt happy before but this time left without purchasing There s a time and a place and a clothes shopping venue isn t the place

The order came on time but 8 days after returning I have no refund If orders are prompt then refunds should be too The emphasis seems to be on selling at the expense of customer service if something does not fit As the customer pays to return items Biscuit should be more timely with refunds I would not order from Biscuit again

I feel unfairly treated by Biscuit I recently purchased a 200 blouse which arrived folded may times until it was small and compact enough to fit into an A5 envelope leaving it in a very creased and a dishevelled unwearable state I really believe at this price the blouse should have arrived in pristine condition Cramming it into a small envelope then expecting the customer to first not be massively disappointed then to have to rectify the problem is disrespectful to both customer and product This experience has not only caused me cost and inconvenience but has shattered my confidence in the care of products and service offered by Biscuit The blouse looked shabby and unwearable and when I wrote to customer services I was told that the blouse could be ironed I d already read the wash label and as I had pointed out to customer service the delicate viscose fabric looked as if ironing may ruin the fine plisse ridges of the fabric Not a risk I was willing to take nor should I have to do this I appreciate that there will be some minor creasing when receiving shipped clothing but a full-scale rescue of the item should not be up to the customer and certainly not at this price My request for Biscuit to cover the cost of return as a gesture of goodwill was turned down telling me that they are a small independent business It is reasonable to expect a business however large or small to refund the postage for an unwearable item I ended up a total of 14 20 out of pocket 10 for delivery 4 20 for return

Slowest refund processing I ve ever experienced plus they didn t fully refund A postage cost was deducted which I can t explain but lesson learned

Clothes sent to Portugal without full customs info
Clothes sent to Portugal and got stuck in customs as there was a lack of information required to clear When querying this with Biscuit I received two messages one pleasant one offering to helpfully look into it The other succinctly and unapologetically stating it would not be their fault as they had done everything necessary Customs in Portugal sent the items back due to the lack of information from Biscuit I notified them the same day and have had no response no apology I have many items sent out to Lisbon from Spain UK USA with no issues at all I will wait to hear and hopefully get fully reimbursed

Items not quality checked before sending to customer
I ordered two items which were sent out unchecked Both items were faulty - one even had been cut through with scissors so I alerted Biscuit and sent the items back I paid for postage but they will not reimburse me for this The items should never have been sent but I am the one who had to deal with the cost and hassle of the return

Far too slow to refund
It s two weeks since this company acknowledged receipt of a returned item but they have still not refunded me almost 400 When most other retailers now refund promptly there s just no excuse Not impressed at all and will not shop here again first and last time
