Terrible communication

My hoover broke within 4 months contacted customer service they were helpful to start But there communication is terrible I kept having to email to get information Then this morning I called them to find out where my replacement part was they said its been sent to the courier Even though they stated I would receive all the tracking information via email nothing came so I ve emailed yet again for the 12th time but no response so I m hoping my part will arrive at some point just received an email saying its been sent by UPS and given me a tracking number Tried tracking it on UPS and the number doesn t exist

Been operating and repairing Bissell machines for some years now I cant complain about the models that I and colleugues tend to use - used more for commercial industrial applications but Im now finding that spare parts availability - especially items such as motors and fluid delivery parts are getting horrendous to get hold of Ive had three BG10 s out of order waiting for solenoid valves for nearly 6 weeks now Thats lost revenue for my customers I am a small operator and cant have expensive stock on shelves that I may not be able to sell so I have to buy as and when needed I shouldnt have to be at the mercy of the supply-chain from US manufacturers I can get parts from China in a week yet Stateside takes months When my units start causing problems and customers units need more attention we will be switching to another brand Over to you Bissell UK

First impressions of the product are

First impressions of the product are good it looks and feels a quality item Only had a chance for a quick test run but seems to clean our tiles floor really well However i was disappointed with the website as it was impossible to apply the 10 sign up discount code so ended up paying 40 more than it should have cost

Cusrtomer Service needs improvement

Even though delivery was on time the wrong cleaning solution was sent I tried to contact Bissell by phone on two occasions The first time I was told that phone lines are now closed That was at 5 10 pm when the lines were supposed to be open until 6 00 on the second occasion the next day I was kept waiting for more than 20 minutes without being able to speak to anyone and without any information I eventually gave up so my problem remains unresolved Customer service needs to be much better

Have a crosswave cordless max which is being repaired for the second time since late July I use all Bissell cleaning products clean it immaculately An expensive product as we have a disabled vulnerable family Collected last Tuesday heard nothing on it s return so called yesterday Received an email this am saying it hasn t even been inspected yet Extremely disappointing for an expensive product that I was assured was an excellent choice

Pluses sturdy item does good job easy to empty and store Neutral hope it lasts longer than 6 months previous item Bissel through amazon lasted 6 months Negatives I believed this was a British made item - as in that it was a product made in Britain It is not made in Britain it is made in China - how can imports from China be good for the environment Recommendation this may be viewed as radical - but make the product in Britain and reduce imports

Disappointing customer service

We are or were loyal Bissell customers having not only a upright carpet cleaner but also a spot clean pet models Having rescue dogs we spend a fortune on solution and use the cleaners often However the spot cleaner has become unusable due to the odour from the pipes and the only means of cleaning it is to use the hydro rinse tool which is forever out of stock My main issue is the lack of response from customer service when contacting them to a highlight the problem and b to try and find out when the tool will be back in stock It s frustrating having spent hundred of pounds to NOT be able to use your product

Disappointing

Bit disappointed Many stains dog urine soil from plants spillage have not been removed The smell of the pet formula is very strong too I have now ordered spot stain solution and tried that today but stains remain Expected more based on product information

Get a Gtech instead

Sweeper not very effective Side sweepers don t rotate which Is misleading Rubber strip underneath fell off on second use Bought to replace Gtech sweeper that was like a rolls Royce compared to this cheap yet embarrassingly poor piece of cleaning equipment

Great - when working

Happy with the unit suction is excellent - easy to empty clean Handle has a plastic nub that fixes to the unit this has sheared off leaving the handle to freewheel and rotate thereby removing any control whilst using This has turned using the hoover into a nightmare basically impossible Have been forced to buy another hoover Currently an expensive white elephant - I don t know who to contact at Bissell to try and sort out
