Waste of space of a company
Had a company membership through makro which booker took over Some years done the line now covid kicks in and I was using a different branch which has now been closed down and only found out by chance after having to be cautious with covid due to health issues Tried to go back to the original branch which is mile out of my wat to be told card has been cancelled Contacted customer services head office basically told tough hasn t been used in a year apply for a new one or sling your hook Complete waste of time needs shut down for their total disregard for customer safety during difficult times

Retail feedback regarding lack of support amidst pandemic
Building a retail business requires building a good long term relationship with wholesalers and vice versa Unfortunately Booker has missed this point in this pandemic and decided to reduce hours close on Sunday and employ staff who seem need more training in how to deal with their clients Compared to pareffets which not only showed support but whose staff are very well organized and respectful I m not sure if retailers will forget this mishandling in the future Time will tell

After recently having my account closed because I did not spend enough money I was not perturbed as I can buy most of what I want from supermarkets that are much cheaper How is it that a wholesaler can be more expensive than a retail supermarket Staff at my local branch in any case are rude and arrogant

What has happened when these stores were Makro they were fantastic and sold clothes tools and everything like Costco and in my opinion were better now they are just really poor with very little product range is Tesco trying to destroy these stores if so sell them to someone who will return them to their former glory Or it s doomed Makro cafe was brill at cribbs

Poor fruit Veg Overpriced products never listen to customer feedback
I have been a customer for more than 20 years as caterer i have used a lot of different branches all over the UK booker is good for dried goods cleaning products but its fruit veg is overpriced could buy cheaper in my local Waitrose tasteless meat not much better I think the managers hide in their offices let the poor floor staff deal with customers when I have a problem no manager to be found was bad before Tight Tesco bought it now much worse lucky we have Costco nearby

Bookers Tamworth are one of if not the worst C C company The staff are offensive rude unhelpful and generally brain dead Area manager SHANE WRIGHT is a miserable gutless lying excuse of a human being He should be sacked for the way he treated me this week He was aggressive towards me encroaching my personal space in a threatening manner and shouting lies across the warehouse I hope to never see this piece of scum again and will never walk into another Booker Cash Carry warehouse again

Been using Booker for over 15 years On used the delivery service for the last 8 years Over that time they have moved our account from Tamworth to Saltey now to Halesowen Makro Service has declined with every transfer Now even when we call the customer support they can t answer our questions usually late deliveries Service is now impacting on business Do NOT use There are more reliable Cash and Carry s out there
