No communication no book

I ordered a book that i needed - the website said it would take 3-4 days I received no communication from them but went onto the website and saw this had been changed to 3 weeks After two months i still had received no communication and no book so i went on to request a cancellation It doesn t even seem to be automatic that i would get this I really would avoid this company if you are in a hurry Shocking lack of communication I ve just ordered the book off amazon for cheaper with next day delivery

Non existent service

I ordered The Satsuma Complex for a friend who lives Norwich on 24 December I was informed the book would be dispatched in 3-5 days By 3 January nothing at all had happened Wishing to avoid Amazon I then walked to my local independent bookshop bought the book and asked them to post it to the Norwich address They have done so and at significantly less cost than Bookshp org I have cancelled my order and will not be using Bookshop org again under any circumstances

Your courier is useless

I ordered books on 4 1 24 and have still not received them even though they were sent 48 hour tracked It is now 13 1 24 You need to use another courier Royal Mail are useless I have now received the books over a week after ordering I should add that Royal Mail sent me several emails saying they had tried to deliver my parcel Clearly they hadn t tried very hard as thanks to a broken foot I am unable to go out so have been at home all of the time I can only think these messages are sent to give the company they are serving the impression that they are fulfilling their brief

I sent my books to the wrong address

I sent my books to the wrong address which granted was my mistake but there is currently no way of ammending delivey options So i don t have my books Hence 1 star

A shopping website in 2022 should have a cancel or modify order button I m absolutely floored that this website doesn t have that function Strangely my out of date credit card information worked when making an order which raises concerns about the payment processing software I m left hoping that the card gets declined or I can call my bank to dispute the charge in the morning Maybe then the process can be stopped Very disappointing

Still waiting

The first and second delivery dates came and went and now today the third delivery date has been missed UPS tracking shows that my book is being transferred to USPS and has been awaiting pickup for four days now There has to be a better way

Disappointing communication on this occasion

Amendment after Robert s reply below all the points of my feedback are still not bothered to be answered the one about a voucher or credit basic commercial gesture after such a misshape Robert dwelves into technical details about the backstage of how purchases linked to draws are treated it does not change the fact that the CUSTOMER does NOT receive in the frontstage the confirmation of that entry and when he BOTHERs to ask I was told it does NOT exist and I BOTHERED to paste copy 3 different parts so bothering to answer all the points of the feedback should be a bother of bOb I had to bOther to prove what i was contested So i reconfirm my afterthought hunch with Robert s 1st reply On this occasion very poor handling of my very fair query about the draws competition linked to the orders advertisements that MADE me order But I was contested one of these draws existed so i had to find back in bin the newsletter and copy screen 3 parts etc But the worst message was particularly the last message from R getting rid of the issue in a very short nonchalant sharp message with NO offer of vouchers even tough he agreed my suggestion was good but at last with apologies Leaving me not very confident the orders actually enter any draw I since then discovered that Official Fines for fake competitions are huge And fees for Consultancy even bigger So a big voucher would have been more correct as an excuse

Returned a book no refund

Returned a book emailed proof of postage got told to wait a few days no refund ignored my emails chasing the refund Won t be using this company again

Would not recommend

I had 2 books in my basket The total order came to 13 I redeemed my 10 book token hoping to pay the remainder on my card The cost of 1 book and postage was removed the remainder disappeared Would not recommend

This has nothing to do with the

This has nothing to do with the bookshop which I ordered from However Royal Mail delivered my books and left them propped against my front door in torrential rain They did not bother to look for a safe place My books were very wet No common sense shown whatsoever
