Customer services don t even reply

Signed up to their subscription to get the cheaper rates on charging Went to a charger and it still displayed the standard rates in the app Called customer services and was on hold for 20 minutes so eventually just started the charge in the hope they could sort it out later Emailed them on 4th November over a month ago and they haven t even attempted to resolve it Have followed up with several emails over the month which are now completely ignored Even emailed them saying I would like to raise a complaint but they have taken to ignoring that too However the charging itself was fine

1st time charging

Today was 1st time I tried charging car at bp pulse public machine the below should explain ny frustration I followed instructions and part way through it stopped So rang and spoke to a chap who said he would do it remotely and followed instructions and was told blue light would go to green It kept going to both chap said your system was showing it was charging I returned to ny car again followed instructions checked vehicle and nothing changed I spoke to a lady who said she can see that machine did not charge So was told if machine was not used for a while they need to reboot Nobody told me before so wasted 2 hours of time

Unhappy wet customer

Joined bppulse online but didn t receive the card before our trip Needed 3 calls taking over an hour in the rain to allow charging Why doesn t the App have a payment method after you have joined I have to say the last lady was very helpful on the phone

Too unreliable to trust

I use the BP pulse AP to charge at work Its is just so unreliable First few times I used it around 2 months ago were fine I even got through to their customer service team within 2 minutes when the cable wouldn t release But over the last few weeks I keep getting an error every other day I try it saying I need to check my Internet and ensure I have the latest version of the App Well 5G is lightening fast and yes its the latest version Now 25 minutes on hold isn t long enough to get through I now regret getting an electric car The infra structure simply is too unreliable

No consideration for first-time users

BP has designed its system without an attempt to imagine what it would be like for someone who s never used it before From the point of view of the casual user you just want to get charged up asap and to be led through the process There s no indication on the charging post You have to guess that you go to the website you have to guess that you have to download the app you have to guess that you re supposed to put some money in first I can t believe it offers you a charge button without a prompt to pay In the end after the guy on the end of the phone rebooting the system it still didn t work for my Renault Zoe 40 which charges fine everywhere else Fail Learn from Chargy and EVC

Charger switched off

Set up to charge on a public charger charge to full would take 3hrs 30mins I returned after this time to find the charger had switched itself off after 58 minutes This was in a fee paying car park so I still had to pay the parking fee very frustrating

Very difficult to connect

I paid money into the account but every time I tried to connect it was telling me that there was an error I tried to phone your helpline but had difficulty getting through I eventually did get through and the guy connected me remotely This all took me over an hour

Another terrible experience

Person I spoke to on the phone was great Everything else not so good After spending 10 minutes waiting to get through I managed to get a remote charge started on CMU2022 - I returned 45 minutes later to find it hadn t charged and had disconnected and someone else was plugged in - I had gone from 2 to 13 Travelled up the road to CMU2017 where again I had to call and get a remote charge started - didn t read my Elli VW card and then the system froze requiring a reboot would be 1 star if it weren t for the 5 starts the customer services chap deserved

Slow technical support

Logged technical issues initially 28 4 BP Pulse provided guidance on how this may be rectified without support Unfortunately this did no resolve and have been trying to progress further technical support via phone and email ever since case 24343276 Hopefully this feedback progresses further support and if necessary a call out Thanks

Started my subscription two weeks ago

Started my subscription two weeks ago used polar for about 4 years since taking out the subscription I have had to call cs to start the charge every charge due to app not being able to start it Also the Roxwell road Chelmsford site has 2 rapids 4 chargers 2ccs 2chad yet parking bays for only 2 cars
