Lack of instruction on how to use the machine

Initially experience was very poor As I am new to ev charging the machine and the app had no instructions and touching the machine nothing happened Upon ringing the customer helpline the person who answered was extremely patient and helpful Why do you have to pay up front Why no clear instructions on ideally both app and the machine Following this review I was contacted by BP and now feel reassured that they are looking to make using the machines easier for new users

The charger was glitchy

The charger was glitchy Spent too much time trying to work out what the issue was Cables not labelled correctly either If it wasn t for customer service being quick to resolve I would have given it one star Lesson learnt to waste customer service time rather than mine

App not working again

App not working again so couldn t check status of nearest petrol station chargers Arrived to find the machine that was usually working was being used and the other was being connected hasn t been working for a while so might not work anyway so travelled to new location to new charging station All machines working but had to ring helpline to connect as haven t received rfid card yet and app still not working After a few minutes helpful agent answered the phone and all sorted App was the issue tonight as it quite often is

Great customer service from Nendirnu glitchy machines

Just received fantastic help from Nendirnu who helped us to get onto a charge with our range at virtually zero We couldn t get one set of chargers to work so he tried a second slower set and one finally worked He was very patient and methodical Thanks Nendirnu

I called as unable to view a proper

Update - just been called by BP and all resolved All my concerns and worries were dealt with Excellent and very courteous chap on the phone - just a shame I vented on Trustpiolt and a shame I even got to the venting stage I have updated the score accordingly I called as unable to view a proper invoice for VAT reasons on the App - was all sort of details including end card number as to getting the invoice however had charge location time date amount and still no invoice - put through to support then cut off I have emailed support 3 times and nothing back Also my first credits never showed up I am now cancelling and going to use Insta Volt Would not recommend

Problem starting charge

After setting up account tried to charge but the app kept timing out - changed charger but same thing happened again - called PB who setup the remote charge at their end - overall satisfied but did take 40minites of messing about to get the charge started Hoping this is a one off

Your agent Bev was really helpful and patient and resolved my query despite my having to search for paperwork online which took a few minutes

Customer service

I am please to report much improved Customer Service in response to a 1 star review I gave yesterday Today I received a polite call from Eugene of BP Pulse who listened to my 3 issues and attempted to resolve all the third point was resolved Original issues 1 Despite starting a charge which ran for 16 minuets no charge was gained by car 2 Still waiting for membership card applied for 26 days ago and told will be another week 3 Account credit still 0 00 should be 27 or 45

Chargers working ok subscription slow

I am happy with the local chargers which have been working well in the two months I have had an EV However the subscription service is slow to send a RFID card to allow a discounted price Also the advertised discount on national EVday did not materialise at the charger

The issue took a long time to resolve

The issue took a long time to resolve I identified the issue partially created account early on but failed miserably to get this across despite numerous emails and positive telephone conversations Finally I got an agent that listened checked and agreed with my diagnosis - the partial created account Within an hour or so the partial account was deleted and I was phoned to let me know we walked through app installation and account recreation bingo it all worked Shame it took so long
