I ordered some Aquarium lighting as this was a very expensive purchase I paid an extra 14 00 for Sunday Delivery to ensure I would be home My item did not arrive on Sunday when my parcel did arrive on Monday the box was open and very badly damaged I understand that this may have been the courier s fault but i have emailed Complete Aquatics but not even a reply from them hence the 2 stars for their lack of customer service

One of my items were missing and although I was told it had been dispatched i still haven t received it Update Item was received 10 days after original order Thought i may have got something as a good will gesture to apologise Original order was placed and part was missing contacted complete aquatics who apologised and said they would resend Waited 2 days and asked again for an update They apologised and said they would send again Finally received the item but 10 days and alot of hassle in-between

Fish tank
Fish tank is good when eventually received Original order we were told was in stock but then when it wasn t delivered was told it was out of stock and wouldn t come till 3 months later changed to a different Tank as was told was in stock to be told again this wasn t in stock We had paid extra for a timed delivery and when we had a agreed time for delivery it came 3 1 2 hours later than agreed Offered refund for extra delivery charge which we accepted then told we couldn t have one and was offered credit instead

Very poor communication
Cabinet i ordered arrived with broken piece Emails weren t answered All the phone calls said too busy and went to answer machine It took a week to resolve issue After car as per normal was poor And blaming covid for not answering calls is just shoddy Overall not impressed

I spent over 500 with these guys
I spent over 500 with these guys waited a week to get my order and then only to have two bulbs arrive that don t work - when I explained the situation they asked me to send back the light unit instead for testing which leaves me with no light at all on my new terrarium plus a huge waste of time as they didn t work in the first place the issue is the two bulbs not the unit as the working bulbs have now run absolutely fine on the other side

Aftersales service is a joke
Aquarium arrived swiftly no complaints Door to cabinet was damaged so emailed with pic and asked for a replacement but told I had to contact manufacturers by locating contact details and part number via instruction book Asked if CA could order it for me and was offered a second hand door from an aquarium they had already set up Said this wasn t acceptable and had no reply as yet

Delivery was due well before Xmas but then an email was received to say out of stock and will be delivered the following week Then pushed back to a few days before when Emailed to chase order Then told it will be later Still and will be in January Didn t dispatch on the day confirmed in January but the day after and Only then Was updated as chased The company again This resulted in a late gift

A bit inflexible even if it meant losing business
First delivery ever was delayed They rectified it with a voucher Second purchase we couldn t do until certain products were in One was in stock the other wasn t and so on I asked if they could hold an item while the other arrives and they said no Bizarre It s hardly Amazon and I m an existing customer who had been messed about first time round I ended up buying half the goods elsewhere because of the inability of the company to just stock a couple of items for a few weeks

One item from order out of stock despite website saying they had it available Paid very high postage and then I had to source missing item elsewhere and pay further postage to them Left me out of pocket Very sloppy They seem to do this a lotAlso checked online and item was still listed as in stock Poor business practice Wouldn t use again

Disappointed with the experience
Disappointed with the experience ordered two items one of which was price matched which was fantastic but delivery stated was within 3 days A week later no delivery called and questioned what was happening and basically requested a refund as it appeared the items hadn t even been dispatched Shame as I ve used them before and I once aware of issue the customer service was very good but it was not great for me to have to wait for the delivery especially when it hadn t been sent
