Visited Inveruglas a number of times

Visited Inveruglas a number of times now with our touring van Wonderful site friends and helpful staff and facilities spot on Putting a big twin axle onto the end bays does need them reversed in from the drive Quiet with stunning views Satellite hook up worked great and good 4G phone coverage too Oh and if your want an amazing meal out the Drovers In 15mins north is a must

We would happily return

Our family of 5 was booked for 7 nights in a gold select caravan We arrived a little earlier than expected 10 mins but the caravan was still being cleaned so we parked up nearby and explored the area We were in Hollyhocks so this is a relatively new and fresh area with no through traffic so was very pleased The caravan was available 10 mins after our selected time so a little annoying but not a biggy The van was clean spacious and accommodating with a decent size decking area with table and chairs Our only niggle was the digital door lock that was temperamental and was sometimes unsure if it was actually locked at night This is particularly concerning as the sight is open to the public We found the entertainment areas clean and well laid out The outdoor seating at the waterfront bar with a big screen was a particularly nice spot with the beach a stone throw away The tables were clean and empty glasses taken away regularly The take away venues are a little pricey but good quality and deliver in a good time We didn t use the restaurants No reason We pre-booked activities before arriving these included football training axe throwing archery and crazy golf The activity crews were a great bunch and do a great job our son Henry got on well with Ewan and Tom who do their job really well We also booked snorkelling which we had to cancel This wasn t easy as you cannot do this on the app There was no reply from an email and it took 2 days to answer the phone An almost full refund was given We used the indoor swimming pool which has a fast river section and slide which was clean and not too busy One of the earlier evenings in our week we went to the club for the entertainment However the kids entertainment was still going on later than we would of expected so there was lack of seating and generally messy tables Our kids are 9 upwards so they were not interested in what was going on therefore we only had one drink and didn t return We feel the kids stuff should finish earlier but maybe that s just our opinion The onsite shops were fairly well stocked with most of the essentials covered We used the laundrette too which needs an app downloading to use No cash or card option which would make it easier Overall we enjoyed our weeks stay and would say you can make a nice holiday here and always find something to do just bring the sunshine with you

Called to get an extension to pay for my holiday I spoke to Hannah who was so understanding and great to help me as I ve been off work sick she gave me an extra week she never judged me and I m looking forward to my stay with them thank you

What a awful place this is Iwas so

What a awful place this is Iwas so looking forward to sitting outside my caravan having lunch or dinner or just having a few beers I couldn t do this because there are NO table and chairs unbelievable I went to reception to ask for some none available What sort of holiday camp is this when you can t seat outside in the evenings I paid 1600 for this crap place never again stay away

A place that doesn t take environmental

A place that doesn t take environmental issues seriously It s in a national park and the whole place is run without a single care for the environment at all Really sad as the surrounding area is simply stunning Would avoid what is an outdated badly decorated waste of money though

Promised a refund none given

I recently booked a couple of nights at Loch Lomond with Argyll Holidays but unfortunately due to confusion booked the wrong nights which I cancelled almost immediately I expected some refund and indeed a gentleman named Graham assured me that I would receive the money back I have had no refund and Argyll Hol s no longer reply to my emails Everyone makes mistakes it s just sad that this company sees it as an opportunity to take a person s money We certainly won t book anything with Argyll Holidays again

Can t get hold of them

I ve been trying to reach Argyll Holidays through phone for number of days and still can t get hold of anyone This is regarding the unconfirmed reservation in one of their facility Sent multiple emails as well and still there is no response from them yet They are unreacheable for any queries

1st and last ever visit

1st and last ever visit Caravan was missing bedding prices are sky high 2 hot dogs 2 kids nuggets and 2 bottles of water 29 beer expensive considering it is Coors light Clubhouse over crowded and to get to the bar a 20 minute wait Arcade was dirty and many amusements not working access to the pool means getting in the queue an hour before the time slots and even then it s not guaranteed Everything is done via their app booking activities and access to your caravan which is ok if you want to pay the WiFi charges if not the reception is poor Very poorly run and cheaper to go all inclusive abroad which I will be doing rather than returning here

Terrible service

After 12 years of coming to seal bay and bunn leisure our most recent experience we will not be back We have had 5 years of unsatisfactory holidays which have been sorted out this year despite my injuring myself on broken furniture in our unit which had tape covering it among othervthings the management couldn t care less Tia was absolutely awful Rest assured cove bay has seen the last of us
