awful experience with the caravan and customer service as my daughter woke in the night to use the toilet went to get back into bed and hit her face on the bedside table after checking the table the unit was so sharp am hadn t been rounded off on the edges After making a complaint the unit was taken away to be checked then I was told it wasn t sharp I was so upset and disappointed to be made out that I was lying and the unit was never brought back to the caravan as it obviously dangerous But I was told it wasn t I will be contacting head office I wasn t even given an apology my daughter has a big cut on her face

2 Stays in 2 months no hot water
Recent 2 stays at Drimsynie park in Lochgoilhead have had no hot water to shower and they were unable to fix it moved us and problem continued Ran out of draft ale beer and lager on Hogmany in Scotland - can t actually believe it Staff are overwhelmed and have no experience and management seem to have no communication with the staff at all nor are they visible when there s a problem Beautiful place but this company is really making a mess of things

I wrote a review a month ago when I was angry but could not update what I wrote we had a not very good 3 days start to our holiday but Management reception staff not only sorted our problem but we where upgraded to a platinum van which was amazing they also gave us 30 in vouchers so we could all have a nice meal I have be read some of the other reviews can can honestly say all the be team where amazing We have booked again for September my daughter has one booked as well they are right on the beach but we could not get one on the beach so we have asked for one as close to them as possible will update you on how it goes but we are all looking forward to a stress free holiday

Great holiday my daughters jenna and janessa really enjoyed the swimming the arcade and the entertainment and obviously the beach box fish was great papa Jones was very tasty the only thing let it down was my silver 3 caravan which the net curtains were ripped fridge broken and the bedroom smelt like dogs which the caravan was a no pets girls first time there as allways go to haven 3 times a year they loved it and want to go back but I m not sure as haven caravans are better

Could be a piece of heaven
Stayed in a lodge with friends on a 5pm deal and was able to upgrade to a lodge with a hot tub a few days before we were due to arrive Check in was easy and the staff were lovely no issues finally found our lodge and we were well impressed equipped with everything you could need for a great stay my only complaint is the beds they are the most uncomfortable cheap mattresses I have ever slept on considering they are doing a massive refurbishment adding on new caravans and lodges so if they can afford to do that they really do need to get decent mattresses that will give you a decent sleep instead we woke up in the morning with sore bones aching joints and barely slept

Fresh blood and Urine all over mattress
We recently stayed in Hunters Quay and although the issue we had was sorted this was only because I personally contacted the Sales Manager So my trip was work related and my first time to Scotland We had a 10 hr journey to get to site so we re pretty exhausted when we checked in I found the lady that dealt with us was totally disinterested and not very helpful We had booked a 2 bed lodge and I did not really have any expectations except that it would be clean and comfortable oh my word on opening the door the smell of dogs was really strong we lost our dogs a while ago and I have sensitivity to pet dander There was dog kibble on the settee and the place felt worn tired and not clean OK we were just wanting to sleep there as we would be busy during the day so we were prepared to overlook this Now we were really tired and wanted to sleep I went into the main bedroom to turn the bed down and spotted something dark under the sheet Upon pulling the sheet back there was a small pool of fresh blood dry but not turned brown yet very fresh my husband suggested pulling the whole sheet off and oh my the mattress was covered on both sides with Urine stains all over big circles of brown absolutely and unforgivably disgusting There is no one to call after reception is shut which is pretty poor but fortunately I had the Regional Sales Managers number so I sent him a photo All credit to him he contacted the General Manager and insisted that we were moved to a new lodge Unfortunately first impressions last and had I not known a senior member of staff I would not have even been able to sleep that night as the beds were awful The new lodge was wonderful so maybe Argyll need to embark on a major refurbishment Other reports say the properties are tired I have to agree and the sad thing is that it appears no-one cares They are resting on their laurels of awards won but this won t last The park itself have fabulous grounds and these are well kept There are plenty of facilities if you have deep pockets I for one would not risk it again As I understand Hep C lasts 24hrs in blood the fact that someone had gone in that lodge and put a clean sheet over fresh blood is dangerous and filthy Dunoon is gorgeous and the townsfolk are wonderful My recommendation would be to stay elsewhere

We stayed for 3 nights over the New Year and we bought the tickets for the Embassy on News Years Eve four adults and two children 45 each for adults and 22 for the children so not cheap The good thing was you got six drinks included and the children got snacks and drinks My first complaint is that it said on their website prosecco was included in the six drinks apparently the manager changed his her mind and it wasn t included very disappointing then on the tickets it advertised drinks and snacks for the children we were then told it was popcorn only our grandchildren went to get popcorn but after over and hour of keep being told to come back no further popcorn arrived we waited until 9 30pm when they were finally given sweets which wasn t ideal We had several tickets left for the children and was told to get them drinks which they didn t want My daughter raised this with the manager on the night and was basically told tough We were all very disappointed and it put a bit of a dampener on our night Plus the night we arrived no hot water or heating we reported this at 4 45pm and was told it would be sorted and could they have access to the van as we we re going out which of course we agreed to on our return around 11 30pm still no heating or hot water not ideal with young children finally got hold of security who thankfully changed the bottle for us Cleaning needs improvement found a nappy in the seating area thankfully unused loads of hairs on the bedding bathrooms very dusty and stains on the dining chairs and sofas

We have only been here for a weekend break but tbh that is enough for us I don t believe they should push this app onto everyone because as soon as we arrived we couldnt get any signal hence I couldn t get my app to load When we did get to the caravan we couldn t get the door to open using the app once again 20 minutes of trying to no avail we had to flag down a maintenance man who was luckily driving past at that time he let us in and informed us they had been having some technical issues with the app that day Caravan is very nice although could do with a bit more detail to cleaning rather than just where the eye can first see pretty thick with dust in places Mattresses absolutely shocking springs gone very uncomfortable Staff in the shop in the entertainment area absolutely shocking all young kids obviously it s there summer job but they need to be taught customer service asked about prices of products none of which had any prices whatsoever I was given the option of could be this price or could be that price one of those two I mean yea that s really helpful thankyou Generally this place is crazy busy far to many people swimming pool far to busy they allow to many in at any one time My daughters friend who was holidaying with us actually cut her fingers on one of the slides as they had rough areas on them All in all we was only for a weekend which for me was enough we have never been before and tbh I wouldn t bother returning it wasn t terrible but it wasn t great at the same time lots of improvement needed

If you want a sunbed arrive at 7am
I ll give our caravan 5 stars as a family member owns one so we had the pleasure staying in it However my review is based on the entertainment side of things at the park On the Friday night we decided to see what was on at the embassy We arrived at 830pm to find no tables free and buggys blocking all walking areas Having an 11 and a ten year old we arrived at that time due to them being to old for the annoying fun factory live for smaller children and the awful annoying bongo bingo So if you want to get a table your have to endure that chaos Being a huge company I m gobsmacked at the prices they charge at the bar I wasn t expecting two pints of beer to be over 10 Secondly on the Sunday we took our girls to use the pool at the lido arrived at 9am to find all sunbeds taken by towels not people I spoke to a member of staff stating this is unfair to be told to get there earlier or loose out to completely ignore the fact no-one was actually there as the pool didn t open till 10am I eventually found two empty sunbeds to then be confronted by a women stating these were taken as she had saved them for friends again I complained and staff weren t interested So cut a long story short if you want a sunbed arrive at 7am Or have a sign up stating no reserving sunbeds

Filthy place
We stay in a privately owned caravan so it s clean spotless and great location However we returned after a fab time at Christmas to see what the summer was like and I don t think we will be back Everywhere was packed filthy staff had no customer service skills The waterfront was discusting tables were sticky no one around to clear tables cigarette ends everywhere I don t think I saw someone wipe a table in the 4 day stay we had I went to sit on a sofa outside the soft play again which was filthy and it was soaked with sticky beer and glass The entrance to the arcade swimming pool was full of cigarette ends over flowing bins and was just vile I didn t want to walk through it with my two young children Dirty swimming pool changing rooms the list goes on I know it s summer in the height of the season but you still expect daily cleaning routines to be top of their list
