Terrible Customer Service

I have been trying to book with Gwen al Mor for a special weekend in October for my partners 70th birthday The prices online say it will be 279 for the weekend and yet when I try to book the price seems to go up It is unclear why I rang customer services only to speak to an extremely unhelpful customer service agent Katie who clearly didn t bother to look online to see what I was seeing as she just blankly told me that the prices do rise at any moment I checked and they hadn t it was still saying 279 I asked to speak to the manager and she said that she was in charge How can you honestly operate a service where you advertise at one price and then charge another with no clear explanation Also if I were you I might consider moving Katie away from a customer service role she is not doing your business any good at all

Appalling customer service

I bought my daughter a voucher for solway holiday park She made a mistake with the dates Cove refused to alter the dates without demanding 160 extra They also refused a refund I ve called them quite a few times and been lied to by staff about this They deliberately lie and promised to call back which they never did Reply to response by cove UK I have been dealing with the customer relations team What a stupid standard answer you have given Terrible company Appalling customer service

Caravan in disrepair Bathroom door handle hanging off Oven extractor not working Broken draw in freezer Wifi not good No oven tray No disabled parking bay do not accessible easily with wheelchair No patio chairs Caravan in need of maintenance Very disappointed

I sold my caravan on the Solway Cove

I sold my caravan on the Solway Cove Site in June 2023 After agreeing the electricity meter readings I found I had been overcharged by 92 50 based on the unit rate All of my emails to the Site Finance Manager regarding this oversite were ignored and I just gave up trying to get this money back Appalling company and customer service Avoid if you intend to buy a caravan on this site

2 stars because the grounds and

Disappointed 2 stars because the grounds and caravans are genuinely very well looked after But as for the staff or should I say lack there off I wanted some general information about travel to the asda so we could get some supplies for the 4 days we were there I was greeted at the reception window by an incredibly rude young girl saying there are no buses and she doesn t know where we can get one She actually knew nothing about anything to do with the park even asked why don t we just walk Asda is a couple miles away I was with my baby and disabled mother This is what we were greeted with I was incredibly shocked by this None of the food places are open in the day time You will struggle to find decent food for your family unless you shop There is also a lack of entertainment for infants in the day time Then it kicks of at 6pm when your baby is ready to go to bed That is unless you want to take them to the evening entertainment which is mostly drunk parents With security everywhere More like a rough estate social club Not for my kids The beach is lovely The outdoor pool is a great spot along with the sandpit Shame the rest sucked

This place used to be so much better

Came on holiday with myself and partner and our 6 children We arrived early so decided to wait outside our allocated caravan A cleaner spotted us and noticed we had loads of young children with us she said I will let you in the caravan We had booked a 3 bedroom once inside the caravan we realised it was a one bedroom very tiny I called reception to be informed the app had the incorrect caravan number and we was in the wrong caravan During our stay the app hardly worked too We was staying for 3 nights on the 1st there was a massive fight in the car and the back of the embassy bar This was right outside our caravan our children were so frightened by it The following two nights my children witness and experienced a further three more fights in the embassy bar Even in the arcade one of the security was sitting on a man s neck my daughter was so scared she was 11 and playing the arcade the man on the floor looked like he was struggling to breath Security seem to have anger issues very aggressive even to stand and watch Witnessing this trouble made my daughter very anxious she suffers with anxiety anyways and it ruined her holiday On return I completed the contact form via the website only to have endless calls from caravan sales saying I wanted to buy a caravan despite telling them why I was contacting the keep calling and calling I was told endless times they will pass my complaint on and have someone contact me still a month later no contact what so ever My children all used to love this place and used to choose it over going abroad now my daughter is scared to return as she don t know what will happen And not even a response on this

Been an owner for nearly 20 years Where do I start on this Both my partner and I have emailed in to coves General manger to get No reply not even an acknowledgment this is totally unacceptable and rude The Entertainment now is absolutely awful even though they still advertise the Big acts that used to exist when it was Bunn leisure and was owned by The Bunn Family it was fabulous but not anymore Now we don t go out if we do go out it s to the village instead where some of our original ents team perform The Embassy now feels very unsafe always a fight we hear about every week the original security team were absolutely amazing never did we get any trouble with them in the venues great bunch of guys Now you just hear them say were not paid enough to deal with that sh t so bad to hear that I m just so disappointed all the money cove have spent but it s going downhill fast I hope I get my response from cove but I m not holding my breath

Booked 2 separate holidays first in

Booked 2 separate holidays first in June with daughter and grandchildren caravan dirty let alone not Covid clean sent someone out to clean Then found we had no coat hangers frying pan grill pan no plug for bathroom sink and no bedding for double bed Which they did rectify quickly Went to the Embassy club found bar staff very rude Second booked in July for myself and partner got there a bit early so decided to go to the Embassy club for something to eat and drink and again staff rude and not helpful at all received the electronic key on mobile but never got a email to say where caravan was phoned reception and was told I was 20 in the queue went down to 4 in queue and got cut off so phoned again to be told I am 16 in queue so decided to go to reception which was the other end of park with cases was a joke finally found where caravan was caravan was lovely roomy and very clean we decided to try the other club the white horse and the staff there was amazing polite helpful and chatty completely the opposite to the Embassy club Shame most of the entertainment was in the Embassy club

My first time stay was looking forward to my weekend break away with friends and my son On first impressions not to bad Got settled in unpacked looked at the entertainment etc for our weekend while we were there Went to evening entertainment got drinks at bar bar staff not to bad service went and got a seat which we couldn t really get one for all of us looking around to only find the floor and tables etc were full of rubbish loads of empty glasses no staff were actually going around picking up the complete mess etc which I found very shocking Staff eventually started clearing stuff but never even finished that the entertainment for that night was mediocre In the end we left before midnight to back to our caravan Morning came and I was disgusted to find most of the sofa seating was badly stained which was disappointing and could have been cleaned No tin opener with utensils broken catches on some windows too The price of food etc was diabolical I mean almost 19 for 1 portion of fish and chips outrageous The arcades are a rip off when you exchange your tokens it s done in tens not single numbers so you lose out on money or prizes etc what con So for my overall first time visit needless to say I will not be going back to seal Bay resort in selsey Lucky you even got 2 stars am only really giving 2 stars because some of the staff were friendly

No management response

Emailed management twice regarding recent break at Drimsynie to offer feedback and distaste at our most recent break No entertainment due to staff owner parties with no prior communication plus the poor state of the Albatross lodge Used the email address provided and they have not even had the decency to respond Years of regular bookings thousands of pounds spent and no acknowledgment of my first ever complaint Have 3 bookings for next year at over 6k and honestly can t imagine returning at this point
