Its ok all a bit run down and not much

Its ok all a bit run down and not much attention to detail with frequent mistakes with bookings etc but deccent place too for a few days outdoors Just needs some TLC

SMUGGLER S RESTAURANTUnfortunately our usual enjoyable meal at The Smuggler s was spoiled by sitting in what felt like a school canteen atmosphere The food was as always excellent - as was the service by the attentive excellent staff However we were seated adjacent to a large noisy family party where the adults appeared to have little or no control over the children They were allowed to shout run around the restaurant and to top it all play with a football Whilst it would be nice if parents could control their children it would not have hurt a member of the management team having a quiet word with the party - it should not fall on the young serving staff to confront them Perhaps a sign insisting that no balls he allowed in the restaurant may be a good idea for the future We did get an apology from a very nice member of staff but the meal had already been spoilt at this stage

Eventually got the correct email I have been offered 70 refund which I have accepted I would lose my money if I cancelled We need the break Thanks Jonathan for reply

Booked a holiday at hunter s Quay 3 weeks ago Only to see today that same holiday is 170 cheaper Angry is not the word This was Booked For 5th August I phoned their call centre re the sudden drop in price Explained we have been coming to Hunter s Quay for many many years When it was Argyll Holidays We are now pensioners and 170 is a huge amount of money to us I perhaps would have expected a longer holiday or more expensive holiday to be reduced by this amount but not a 4 night holiday I have been given an email to send to reservations but no manager s name Hoseasons are refunding people who have booked holidays but that are now substantially reduced If I cancel I will lose all my money and my granddaughter who is autistic will miss out on our short and only break We won t be back I m sorry to say aa we love Hunter s Quay and have been coming here for 15 years Not a change for the better

Entertainment passes not worth it

We stayed at Seal Bay in Selsey for 3 nights under an Airbnb host so had to purchase separate entertainment passes It cost us 143 for 4 adults and 4 children for a length of 2 nights At first I thought it was reasonably priced but after actually experiencing what was included in the passes I think it s too much IMO The whole resort was MASSIVE so understandably there were a lot of people trying to make use of their passes The Embassy was too small to provide entertainment for everyone who wanted to enjoy it You can only get into the pool for an hour each and it the pool facilities were poorly maintained and too crowded the management need to rethink how to better control the flow of people for the hourly swim passes as some people just stay for longer We had fun but won t come back

Decent place to take the kids

We visit a lot It s a shame they replaced the kids entertainment with a poor immersive experience but they do good live entertainment and the swimming pools are great

Stayed in luxury hot tub lodge hunters Quay staff were lovely unfortunately our 4mth old granddaughter ended up at hospital in dunnoon 2 days of the break so week was spoilt only issue we had fridge freezer wasn t working reported it twice still not working when we left had to throw all our food out was promised an email when we checked out but nothing

Absolutely fantastic holiday

Absolutely fantastic holiday We ve been 3 times in the last 12 months and it s been great each time Big shout out to Ky and Owen on the wave rider they were so good with our boy and he feels like he has 2 new best mates Will be back again soon

We have owned our caravan for three

We have owned our caravan for three years now And from the minute we purchased our van The sales team provided us with exactly what we needed Nigel and Lucy have gone above and beyond to make sure my family gets the best experience from the park Since Cove have taken over The park it has gone from strength to strength i ve read a lot of reviews from previous holidays owners and can honestly say this is not a correct reflection of the park i have a young family and was the best decision I ever made to become an owner Our children are constantly entertained whether it is planned entertainment in the white horse or west sands or enjoying the Lido all of the facilities are amazingly clean all events are well planned and organised We feel very relaxed and safe due to security officers which are constantly patrolling the park We have had some of our best nights spent in the Viking The manager Steve Who takes his time to get to know regulars and accommodate everyone which in turn gives a brilliant atmosphere to enjoy your evening including Dan Aaron abbie Ellie Our favourite place to eat is the Lido The food is excellent always hot always presented beautifully The staff are friendly just a really well run environment and I believe this is because of Becca making sure that everybody is satisfied with their food and drinks My overall experience with the park is excellent we have made so many new friends I couldn t imagine not being an owner So thanks everyone keep up the good work Rich
