We had our IVF treatment at Wimbledon Whilst we were happy with the outcome at Create and we were successful in having a baby via IVF I feel it is important to be open about the whole experience and journey we had at Create The staff were friendly and courteous throughout however from day one there was a distinct lack of attention to detail resulting in mistakes being made It sometimes felt like we were just a file number and that a template was used each time we had any interaction From trying to charge us for drugs we hadn t used to forgotten appointments when we had already turned up at the clinic Not to mention forgotten medical details which had been outlined from day one and meant a last minute delay in our treatment which was most distressing We also saw numerous doctors and nurses throughout which I think added to the lack of detail and missed communication The staff were hugely apologetic following these mistakes yet further things happened I think Create would benefit from one point of contact per couple in order to ensure crucial information is passed onto the relevant staff both in the clinic and office it often felt like these two were separate entities which also led to mistakes

The medical advice and care at Create is very good at every stage in the process On every occasion the guidance about procedures to undertake was based on medical need and lowest levels of intervention The price is also comparable to other similar clinics Staff are friendly approachable and respectful Our only frustrations were with the administrative and financial aspects of our treatment It was often not clear what the full cost of treatment would be and in some instances when payments needed to be made Given the significant costs of treatment this added unnecessary stress and worry to the process and tainted our overall experience There also seemed to be some confusion about which consent forms needed to be completed as an unmarried same-sex couple and when we have subsequently tried to retrieve copies it has proved challenging Lastly at our initial registration our medical records were mismatched and although the medical staff were always very clear and made no mistakes it took a long time through the treatment process before they were correctly assigned

An average experience improvements should be made as neglect is easily apparent more care is definitely needed through out the process

After two visits I have found my experience at Create St Paul s a somewhat disheartening and disjointed process from the administration team with emails missing office equipment not working insufficient experience in answering simple questions or answering as if you should know what they are explaining and with an unfortunate attitude that you are bothering them Initial front of house reception welcome also abrupt and offputting A great shame as Doctors are personable and offer a thorough patient and knowledgable level of service Sadly the whole procedure is shrouded in a very salesy approach with complicated price lists presented with the same attitude All in all extremely off putting for the sensitive service required and as most clients will be feeling somewhat vulnerable this is an experience that should perhaps be avoided until service levels improve greatly

The building itself is very poorly maintained with all different seats in reception the room you see the nurses in is basically a storage room It has a general feeling of it requiring a makeover The nurses are great go above beyond in many cases They really make the whole experience easier seem to care The doctors are professional but it s my biggest criticism that you rarely see the same one more than once This means that you don t build a relationship with them feel a bit passed around Worse when treatment hasn t been successful I had one visit to the St Paul s clinic it was much more of a high tech medical professional feel to the experience but a little less personal I am pleased to say I now have a beautiful little girl so ultimately the experience was positive if not a little haphazard at times

I was hoping for a sympathetic explanation of the test results The medical science is not easy to grasp The consultant made me feel like I was imposing on him answering my questions with palpable irritation

Warm and friendly staff Although a bit more priority maybe given to patient privacy I think its uncomfortable openly discussing or listening to others about the the purpose of the visit at the reception

Amazing team of doctors and incredible nurses I can t say that for the admin team as it looks like they got no training and emphaty when working with clients Be careful when paying as they might overcharge or pay twice for a blood test

This review is 50 50 - ultimately Create delivered as our first attempt at IVF worked and we ve had a beautiful healthy baby girl However there were hidden costs with Create and the Drs Consultants don t really communicate with the reception staff which then leads to confusion in what is a really stressful time anyway Generally the consultants and nurses were friendly and professional and the location in St Paul s is great if you work in central London I ve also had other friends who have had negative experiences due to poor communication and hidden costs

I d give 3 5 stars given a choice I got pregnant in my first round of treatment so clearly the process worked and the drug levels used and medical side was good However we picked an option which was explained to us as inclusive excluding some drugs but the costs kept being added to and it cost more than 2 000 than I had understood it would be
