Very bad experience buying second-hand products in Digitec webiste
On 09 06 2020 I bought a Samsung TV in Digitec website Digitec offers the possibility to sell products bought from them through Digitec ch website Before buying the product I have called Digitec to ask if I could have seen the TV and they said that this was not easy but they would have protected me in case of something not working So I paid the TV to Digitec and contacted the seller to arrange a date for him to bring the TV to me On Wednesday June 17th 2020 the seller brought the television to my apartment without original packaging and by car not very carefully transported When we turned on the TV a whole vertical pixel line didn t work and I told the seller that I didn t want the TV because it didn t match what was advertised on the Digitec website TV functioning as new The seller brought back his television and told me that he would have gone back to Digitec to repair it The same day I called the Digitec Service Call Center to inform the company of the broken TV and to ask for instructions on how to get my money back as confirmed in previous calls to understand the process I was told to wait until someone from Digitec tells me what to do The next day Thursday the 18th I called the service center again to ask for an update and nothing was processed On Friday the 19th I received a notification about a package sent to me by Digitec So I called the service center again to ask for clarification and the employee didn t know which package was being sent to me On Monday 22 I received a huge package with the broken TV from the seller inside and you can imagine my reaction considering that it is broken The package is still unpacked and lying on the floor waiting for someone to take it back To date even if I called basically every day the responsible department was not able to call me back to explain what is going on but as soon as the seller went to the store they needed 2 days to package the TV in a new box and send it to me They can be very efficient when needed Very bad experience and I strongly suggest you not to buy any second hand product from Digitec there are much better websites for this type of business Reply to Digitec comment Yes it is true Finally the TV has been picked up at my apartment and the money entirely refunded I have added at least one star to my evaluation However during this month I have lost a lot of promotions in digitec but also from other companies so with the same budget of a month ago I am not able to buy a new tv as I could have been without this issue So my advice is still not to buy second hand products in digitec
