solved Digitec held on to my Airpods for 6 weeks

I m a Digitec customer for 7 years with around 30 orders It s the first time that I had to use their warranty and it s a borderline scam My Airpods failed For the record these are unrepairable due to their tiny size and nature they can only be replaced I opened a warranty case and sent it back I got acknowledgement that repair will take 2-4 weeks On week 5 I enquired asking for a refund or replacement since time is up I got a cynical email that repair will take 2 to 4 weeks starting from the day of my complaint I replied that it s week 5 since they didn t do anything so far I won t wait anymore please send a refund or replacement and sort out internally what went wrong They didn t reply anything AND MARKED MY WARRANTY CLAIM AS RESOLVED on the website Now I wonder if I ll ever get back my Airpods UPDATE to 3-stars on 23 03I still didn t get any reply to my email to customer service but after posting this negative review I finally got a tracking number for the return item - It was sent to the wrong address and stayed at the post office poste restante 12km from the place I live- Nobody notified me of the shipment- I got the wrong reply to my initial email that I have to wait 2 to 4 more weeks whereas the replacement was already sent and waiting for me to pick up Updating to 3-stars as I got back the repaired Airpods today That said it s a pity that polite inquiries go unanswered and I have to publicly post to get anyone have a look at a case Service case CRR2109900 return item reached Digitec on 11th February 2022 according to post tracking 99 60 033323 00007881

Bad information unexpected long deliveries

I ve been buying from them for some years now I placed more than 30 orders but now I have to change online shop because it has gone too far for 2 bad experiences First I ordered a product with an expected delivery time of 2-3 weeks then every week it has been postponed it has been 15 weeks now I understand if a product takes 5-6 weeks instead of 2-3 but 15 weeks is exaggerated Then I bought a different product advertised as Pro version in the name of the article in the pictures and even in the scope of delivery sections it s indicated that the extra pro piece is included Needless to say they sent me the standard version I returned it and they sent the standard version again I contacted them and apparently the name the pictures and the scope of delivery where all wrong The website is very pleasant to use easy to move around and very intuitive The prices are good they have e lot of discounts I bought a lot of used products and I never had any problem The support is always been very welcoming even if they couldn t do anything if not to acknowledge the error I could cancel my 15 weeks long order and I should get my money back I will only buy by digitec if the prices are lower there If not there are a lot of alternatives that are going to be better

Fair prices never had a damaged product but their delivery is another story

I ve spent a lot on digitec and have mostly enjoyed buying products from them until recently Ive had orders suddenly go out of stock 3 days after buying them and being told that it would be shipped in 2 months when restocked I ve had an order sit in their warehouse for almost a week with no contact from them about any delays on their end but in that same order I had the other half arrive at my door 2 days after ordering With the pandemic and their sales they ve had this week I believe digitec has not tried to keep up their standards and or don t have the capacity to keep their promises I won t not be upset if it was communicated before hand but when the website states delivered tomorrow and you have to wait almost a week for them to ship it it can be frustrating especially when it s an order over 250 francs Besides pre-pandemic they were great everything I ordered would be sent same day as order and would be at my door next day I ve never received anything broken from them unlike some other online retailers in Switzerland and their prices are typically good Just for now they can t deliver next day as it still says on their website

Prices are competitive

Prices are competitive delivery next day if stocks are available We ordered several things from them however once we got a defective radio they requested us to send back the defective radio and we had to pay for the shipping for return which I think was a bit unfair otherwise I would give it a five star

Sometimes I really rely on fast

Sometimes I really rely on fast delivery - in those cases I am looking for a product and the website with the fastest delivery wins my order It happened already few times to me that I was disappointed as website stated Delivered tomorrow the info about available product in the warehouse Yet the delivery was taking 2-3 working days That s really annoying and I feel like the website is purposely misinforming customers to be on top of the competition even though they simply don t deliver the promise Digitec promises order on friday before 7pm - delivery next day but that actually happens really rarely Now apparently my order from Friday will be delivered on Tuesday Otherwise Products are fine returning process usually goes without a problem and the prices are ok

Packaging of phone case was missing

I ordered a phone and a phone case The phone case was delivered separately by your supplier However there was no protection and it was broken

Happy but not happy

I have always been happy with the products I bought and everything but recently I sometimes receive my parcels with Planzer the problem is that with Planzer either the parcel gets lost or somehow they receive my address incomplete or wrong even though on digitec Galaxus my address is correct I have only ever had these problems when they send me things with Planzer If it were not for that everything would be perfect for me I would rather wait one more day and receive my things with Die Post than have to write because something was lost etc

Bad delivery service

I am very happy with the products I ordered Good price and no complaints about Digitec However I was not at all happy with the delivery company As far as I know they did not ring my bell I was in all day and they didn t even leave the parcel at our front door - instead under our mailboxes right on the street with a risk of rain on the box Not happy about this and hope Digitec changes their delivery company

Good range and price unreliable dispatch

Their product range and prices are excellent But they clearly have a mess in their dispatching process the last two orders I ve placed with Digitec were marked as dispatched but then obviously sat in their warehouse for several days missing the promised delivery times and with no updates
