SCAM - update

SCAM DO NOT use this company The reviews are fake I ve unlocked multiple phones in the past and it only ever takes ONE payment if any This company charged me 11 99 to unlock my phone gave no indication there would me more payments required After 3 days of the phone still not being unlocked I ve never had to wait more than 24hours but thought I should give them a chance I went back to the company put my IMEI in again to see they want a second payment of 38 99 I have seen other reviews where people have given multiple payments and just keep getting asked for more money Do not give them any money Or if you have Request your money back then after 14 days go to your bank with proof of dispute and dispute the payment UPDATE DirectUnlocks tried to have this review taken down Funnily enough they gave me my refund after sending them a message warning them what they are doing is Illegal and I was going to report them So if anyone is having any issues with this company message them directly tell them you know it only ever takes one payment if any at all as most unlocks are free nowadays and tell them you ll report them if you don t get your money back

The website is vague and full of hidden fees They won t allow you to pay with credit and make you pay with debit so that it s harder to get your money back from your bank 100 scam fraud and extortion The average unlock from them is over 200 They made me pay 28 99 50 then tried to make me pay 193 It s not worth it

They say they ll unlock for your phone instantly for 28 99 Once you pay them they have your IMEI They run compatibility checks just regurgitating info you can get from your IMEI for free with basic checks carriers lock status Then screen comes up with Ready to unlock and requires you to pay 50 00 additional Once you confirm this payment they say you ll get your device unlocked in 7 days or so They will continue asking for more money at each step after this until you give up But here s the scam - you ll never get your device unlocked And you ve already agreed to terms of service saying that if you try to flip the charge on your credit card they have the right to blacklist your IMEI which they now have Lose Lose Absolutely positively FRAUD You ve been warned

They did not fulfill what they promised After almost three weeks and over 370 in expenses they are now asking for more money or a store credit note instead of returning the money They are a fraud They hide the terms and conditions they do not have the real rating on the direct unlock page it is 4 7 while on the current Trustpilot page it is 4 0 Basically they use misleading information and hide important information the most pathetic thing of all is that if you leave a realistic rating they justify themselves and do not correct anything All their arguments are useless
