I can only assume that I have poor luck

I can only assume that I have poor luck as compared to everyone else our experience hasn t been great so far Customer service do email you back which is the positive point But as far as securing a date we ve been waiting for over a month and only offered one date over 4 months away and one that we responded to but were told we didn t get as presumably somebody responded even quicker Wondering if we ll ever get anything A friend who s registered for exactly the same criteria has been offered 5 dates in the same timeframe

Great experience with driving test

Updating my Review Aug 18 I would say look for other options Despite multiple requests they couldn t find me a suitable cancellation slot Eventually I found one myself The only good part is email communication is prompt but then what s the point of that when you don t get a slot at all ------Great experience with driving test genie The Best part is quick and prompt communication Highly recommended

I find the app quite limiting because

I find the app quite limiting because it does not allow you to change the details apart from the time preferences All other changes have to be made via email This could be improved I think In fact a week later I had no cancellation dates at all so I tried myself and managed to get a test for a week later As it happened I failed that test so I ve given Genie another chance to prove themselves It has given me a new test date but it s not a big improvement I m still waiting

Not the best app out there

After using this app for a while I switched to another which was far superior Driving Test Genie may find tests but it s of no use if you can t check your instructor s availability AND reply to a text within 10 minutes Other apps allow you to specify days times when you and your instructor are available and they then book a suitable test automatically I went with this which was massively better and delivered exactly what I needed within days of signing up

Maybe I m the unlucky one

Maybe I m the unlucky one but have signed up for more than 6 weeks and nothing and I have 3 different options for test centres It s unclear how it works and who they give priority to when booking a cancellation Even though the customer services seems to be good

Customer service very helpful Unfortunately the DVSA backlog is causing huge problems and so the number of cancellations is not as we had hoped but the Customer Service are very quick efficient and helpful

Receiving cancellations does not happen regularly takes some time to receive one However the costumer service is great

Found me a test in a very busy London

Found me a test in a very busy London location 4 months away in only 3 days I however dont like the app or website as it took too long to buy the membership and only went through after I got billed 3 times The terms and conditions are all fine apart from the clause where they said you can only get refund if you already had a test booked for the test centre you want in the next 45 days If someone has a test in 45 days they most likelt wont be using this service I got told to leave a review for express which is worth 29 99 but I cant see this anywhere on their website I am still waiting for refund on 2 of my 3 payments
