Really like this company Both Jonathan and Sarah are very approachable and Jonathan was very good at setting my expectations in relation to what things were worth The house visit was a big help and they even took the items away on the viewing day Result at the auction exceeded expectations on a number of things Would certainly consider using them again in the future if the need arises

An excellent experience

An excellent experience We had classic car boot moment We had a box of my father s old toys and games 1930s none were in good shape covered in dust and grime Couldn t find much about them online deliberating whether to just chuck them But googled Excalibur and emailed a photo of everything laid out Jonathan s initial assessment was nothing stood out but encouraged me to bring them in We took the box in and Jonathan looked through and picked out 2 Japanese tin plate toys as a bit special for a separate lot They took excellent photos and sent us a full set for our records Fully expected to come back and pick them up unsold however the box of toys went for 110 and the 2 tin plate toys went for 1 600 flabbergasted Sarah and Jonathan provide a personal family service easy to deal with and very responsive obviously delighted we made the effort to take the box to Excalibur Auctions

The only problem that I had was when I came to pay on-line Checking the my card billing postal address I realised that there was a post code error but an email and phone call later and it was all sorted

Top team and very helpful with advise on selling - they kept me informed of the auction process by emails every time Even picked up some extra comic books from my home address Only UK auction house I will use for selling my collection
