BEWARE

Our reservation was confirmed on this site and paid for days in advance Then we got to the hotel on check in day and they had no rooms available so we were out of town scrambling at the last minute trying to find a room on a busy booked homecoming weekend We ended up paying 2 times the amount we had already paid just to have a place to sleep That was very inconvenient and unprofessional of this business This was the worst experience ever never again will we book through this site

Absolute Disgrace booking Went to book a black Friday deal Room held for 20 mins put in my details only to be told room was gone with offer Went back in room was there again but 120e more expensive RIP off Ireland at its finest

Horrible hotel nothing like pictures It s filthy I won t even shower here I had to book another hotel for our second night I have requested a refund for my second night booked through vio but it doesn t even look like my customer service request went through I ll have to dispute the charge if I get no response

Booked into a closed hotel

I plan to go to New York in early January 2024 I don t know the city at all so I relied on a guidebook to find a convenient neighborhood in Manhattan I selected a recommended hotel and proceeded to book my stay on Vio com I completed the booking got confirmation and my credit card was charged I wanted to get a better idea of the hotel s location so I looked on Google maps The hotel popped up on the map with a message that it was permanently closed I tried calling the hotel s phone number and it had disconnected After a little more web searching I found a newspaper article that said this hotel had been converted into shelter for migrants and asylum seekers So why was this hotel still listed on the Vio com website What would have happened if I had just shown up in January and made this discovery This is very sloppy work And it could have been avoided with due diligence or at least reading the newspapers

Don t use this service

1 The booking said 2 double beds when I chose the room but the reservation was for 1 bed When I contacted you to cancel the reservation it took over a half hour with most of that time speaking to someone I could never hear or understand The background noise was unbelievable I was finally transferred to Priceline where the problem was resolved I will never use your service again

Serious Scam AVOID VIO

The app refreshed on it own and changed the property I was in the middle of booking I m standing at the front desk to check in on Carolina Beach in Puerto Rico and it had booked me on Carolina Beach in North Carolina I immediately called the property and they never received the booking They I tried chatting with Vio and it booted me out of the chat after I explained the issue

The booking dates were for January instead of December and as soon as I made the booking and realized it was the wrong month I was told it was non refundable This is not ok
