Total lack of paperwork but decent furniture

The furniture is good quality and at a decent price but my bad review comes from the lack of communication from the company and the lack of paperwork I never received an itemised invoice of my goods not even a confirmation email that my order had been placed I had to email them to check and they replied with a one lined response I then had to wait an anxious 8 weeks to see if the items actually turned up Even when the delivery did arrive there was no picklist nothing for me to check against to see if I had the right items I had to go to another website and find out how many bundles I was expecting It has taken us a few weeks to finally build the items a whole bedroom and finding we were missing an element from the corner cupboard essentially the bit that makes it fit in the corner we thought there was little or no point in contacting the company to see if they could send one because what paperwork did I have to show what items had originally been bought Nothing absolutely nothing- just a screenshot of my order page I will not be using them again

You do not even buy off them all they do is selling you stuff from elsewhere furniture is marked already

Bad communication turned up late and I had to get it into my house as one of the guys was as much use as an ashtray on a motorcycle

WILL NEVER BUY HERE AGAIN

It was all going so well until one of my two pieces of furniture had some damage It then became a farse trying to find a suitable date for collection and delivery of another When finally the replacement arrived it had not been checked prior to delivery and again was damaged I was assured that the third time it would be quality controlled and once again there was great debate over the delivery date as Furniture Direct have specific times dependant on orders and fuel economy which I completely understand but hey I was the aggrieved party - perhaps a little tlc for this error possibly with arrangements being made through another courier instead of their in-house delivery team Finally agreed delivery date and time and not surprisingly this piece had some damage Needless to say I kept it but will never purchase from here again as I can t afford any more time from work to suit their delivery demands

Furniture arrived damaged and

Furniture arrived damaged and measurements on the website were incorrect and had to wait a week for the furniture to be collected and refunded Not the best experience

Although the item purchased was of good

Although the item purchased was of good quality the customer service received was poor The item was ordered on 19th December but did not arrive until 22nd January we had to make several telephone calls to confirm delivery information Overall a poor service

Poor quality chair

The item we purchased was simply not good enough in terms of quality of poor construction and not buyable at all It was not manufactured by Furniture Direct and to be fair they handled a refund and return of the item very well indeed and in a courteous manner

After waiting 5 weeks

After waiting 5 weeks the chest of drawers that was delivered was completely different to what we ordered different design and with different dimensions unsuitable for our planned location Their explanation was that the style we ordered is no longer made Asked them to take it away and give a full refund We have now purchased the chest that we wanted from Wayfair so the explanation that it is no longer made was clearly rubbish

good product- awful delivery and customer service experiece

Product really good for a reasonable price However I was given a 11-2 time slot for delivery It didn t turn up until 5pm When contacting customer services they stated it wasn t their issue as it was a courier company they use and these things happen completely unacceptable response and an extremely unhelpful attitude from customer services Such a shame because the bed I ordered was great- the customer service experience would put me off ordering from this company again
