I recently purchased the Japanese Storage Bed from Get Laid Beds including the White Glove Assembly service and unfortunately my experience has been less than satisfactory The delivery process was smooth with timely updates provided a day before and on the day of delivery The assembly team was polite and efficient completing the setup quickly Visually the Japanese Storage Bed appeared to be a quality product However my satisfaction was short-lived as after just a week of use the bed frame started creaking excessively I was initially drawn to Get Laid Beds due to its reputation and great customer reviews online The positive feedback from other customers influenced my decision to invest in their products However the current situation with the bed frame has left me disappointed Considering the 806 00 price tag I paid for this bed frame such a level of noise is disappointing and not reflective of the quality I expected I trust that the customer service team can promptly address and resolve this issue Whether through repairs replacement parts or compensation I believe that my investment in a supposedly high-quality bed should not result in such inconvenience I look forward to the company upholding its commitment to customer satisfaction and honouring the 11-year guarantee In conclusion while the initial impressions of the Japanese Storage Bed were positive the subsequent experience has left me with reservations about the overall quality and durability of the product I trust that the customer service team will take swift action to rectify this situation and restore my confidence in Get Laid Beds

I m really disappointed I ordered a bed specifically from this company because their website said they could deliver it in time and I needed it within a specific time I paid extra for express delivery to be sure it would arrive All the communications said it would arrive on the day I had booked and paid for but the company now says it will be 7 days late and not within the time I paid extra for So they re expensive unavailable and misleading Not a good experience Edit they didn t fix my problem but they did agree to cancel the delivery and refund me No bed which is a shame because I took the day off work but at least I ll get the money back Edit again The bed actually got delivered only a day late Lots of chaos and changing plans and uncertainty which was no fun but I ll update based on what we ve received

Ordered a king size bed and underbed storage Paid extra for earlier delivery On the due date four out of five packages delivered by Panther We were told that we would be contacted within 48 hours with a new delivery date - 48 hours In fact they did not meet this timeline either Many apologies from Getlaid and refund of the delivery fee but we were informed that they have no control over the delivery Whatever happened to managing the order through to completion Delivery rescheduled for Monday and then informed on the morning that the 5th package had missed the load Emailed Getlaid twice neither was even acknowledged We finally contacted the delivery company ourselves and the package arrived the next day Meanwhile we built the storage box but found that this had a castor missing which could not be blamed on the despatch company and which took nearly a week to arrive However good the product may be the company needs to recognise it has a responsibility from despatch to successful delivery

I ordered a bed from here and it s just so uncomfortable The mattress is so hard and is sinking in the middle and the frame creaks loudly whenever my partner moves I went to buy the sleep trial mattress so I could test it out but they said the mattress that has a trial was out of stock so recommended another one with no trial and now I m stuck with a really uncomfortable and expensive bed that I can t return Would not recommend buying from here

We bought the ottoman storage bed The delivery guys from the company were great Unfortunately the product itself suffers from very poor quality control There are holes not drilled straight or not drilled at all bolts that are too big to allow correct clearance blobbing of paint and many chips and holes in the wood itself For the price you expect a lot more Disappointed If you do use them pay the extra 25 quid for them to assemble it then they can deal with the headache of putting together a flat pack that wasn t made very well

Impossible to assemble without a drill Plus the instructions are poorly printed on low quality paper and crushed into the packaging It s impossible to do without an electric drill so do not trust their FAQ where it says that having one would simply speed up the process Very disappointing

I should have read reviews before purchasing The bed was extremely difficult to put together nothing fit right pilot holes were off or too small making assembly a struggle Instructions are vague and badly illustrated - absolutely nothing was labeled The under bed storage box screws were too long and caused damage Trying to find a positive in this - I do like the fact that it s all wood no chip board or plastic pieces I decided on this bed frame specifically because I needed it to fit in a small space and it does fit so that s good Overall though a frustrating experience and left feeling like the cost high vs quality substandard are totally misaligned

Several parts of bed frame had ingrained grey marks in my opinion dirt or fungal stains spoils the look on a natural finish According to Get Laid Beds this is natural grain variation A tenon joint had to be reduced in width to fit Significant gaps between panels of head and foot board panels Have doubts about all parts being Hardwood as easily crushed by screws Get Laid Beds did offer a return and full refund or replacement parts I declined as needed the bed after being without one for so long I was issued a 25 refund minimal considering the cost of the bed and trouble caused I feel

Quality of the beds isn t unreasonable We decided to buy the Headboard after buying the bed First the price is extortionate The reasoning apparently was that the Headboard is made measured to the bed because each bed has a unique size Well when we measured it it didn t Finally on arrival The Headboard didn t have any instructions for us to assemble it

Awful delivery service I booked an assembly service at 70 on a specified date There was a system error meaning my delivery wasn t booked properly and didn t arrive I had to chase this up when i didn t receive any of the promised texts I arranged for the next quickest delivery but could not get the assembly service They didn t turn up I was finally delivered a bed it was incomplete I didn t know it was incomplete as nobody told me and the instructions were not clear I then had to waste more time waiting for a final delivery after i d already constructed the bed myself incorrectly Even as i write i m had their delivery company Panther emailing and texting me about another item for delivery clearly yet another error Get Laid Beds refunded me the assembly service i didn t get and finally a 40 refund discount after doing the bare minimum The bed is okay their delivery system and delivery company Panther are awful I d avoid until they get this side of things sorted as it s really not worth the hassle
