Electric screwdriver needed

Lovely bed and pre-delivery service was great However it doesn t say anywhere that you really need an electric screwdriver to put it together even with white glove service The white glove service puts headboard together and bottom end together but you you still need to attach and screw in the side pieces and then screw down all the slats My fit 50 year old husband couldn t screw the side pieces in fully so we had to borrow an electric screwdriver from a friend Was expecting more assembly

Little things let you down

A nice well made product however marred by small defects such as slats supplied only just long enough and screw holes not all countersunk not being picked in quality control as claimed in their leaflet The major problem is poor customer service over delivery dates much of which appears to be caused by FedEx s system not knowing when a delivery might be made informing recipients that a delivery will be made but after it has arrived but prior to the estimated date Shame as it reflects on the Client company

Perfect low bed for old cottage

Great website very easy to see all the different finishes Efficient delivery sadly we couldn t get the white glove delivery and assembling the bed was quite challenging mainly because it is very heavy Would definitely recommend an electric screwdriver Also the 15 degree instruction wasn t very clear Once assembled though we were thrilled with the quality of the bed and how well it fitted with the beams in our new home Plus Get Laid Beds was one of the few companies that did low beds an absolute must for us

All good we liked the website and had great follow up checking on our order and offering good advice Smooth delivery by Chris and Susan who navigated the mattress up our narrow stairs with care but successfully Thanks

Very happy with my new bed

Very happy with my new bed - it s very comfortable and looks great in the room Only reason for the 4 star and not 5 is because I had problems with original delivery date however will recommend and use them again to get a 5 star next time Delivery driver bed maker was brilliant and did a fantastic job making the bed so quickly and is a credit to the company He was working all by himself and had to take all the items up to the apartment on 2nd floor in the baking heat If he reads this you left your Stanley Knife here but you had already left by the time I spotted it

Great looking bed

The bed is lovely Looks great delivered on time and feels nice and solid We have had an issue with a screw poking through the headboard but the company are acting very swiftly to remedy it with great customer service Would define recommend

Lovely stylish bed for a small room

Lovely stylish bed with incredibly comfortable mattress The style and size petite double are perfect to make a small room look more open The mattress protector and cotton fitted sheet are both lovely quality Customer service was excellent Only tricky part of assembling the bed was fixing the slats 0 5cm longer would have made fitting easier Overall very happy with my buy have bought before and plan to again

Great bed frame

Great bed frame We bought a White Knight double bed in honey satin and an under bed Japanese storage box Quality of wood and frame is great though it was a faff to put together as we didn t have an electric screwdriver so had to do it by hand They have an option to put it together when delivered for 25 which we d wanted but the delivery slots with this service were too far away Honey satin stain was a bit darker than expected but overall still happy with it The bed is also space saving and this is what we really love about it - we upgraded from a small double to a double and our bed frame actually takes up less space now with a bigger bed

Nice but hard work

Bed is nice and delivery was really quick 25 However if you don t pay 70 to have the bed assembled you will need basic carpentry skills We had to drill holes for almost every screw and there are no markings for where to drill holes for the slats so you need to measure equal distances yourself It felt very DIY With just a little extra input from the bed makers it would have been a much easier experience I think for the price the extra little bit of work on the company s part would have made it worth the price Unless you are competent with a drill and have the right drill bits luckily we did you need to pay the 70 It took about 2 hours to put together with 2 of us

Good bed Poor instructions

Good to be able to choose from a variety of sizes Delivery was on time Instructions for the bed assembly could have been a lot clearer Bed and mattress have been good so far
