I had an pensioner friend of mine call
I had an pensioner friend of mine call me up about this new device that will save him electricity and claiming that the energy companies were ripping everyone off Glad I was able to research it before he got scammed by this obvious fraud preying on vulnerable people Making completely ludicrous claims about how electricity even works

Scam
At the very best it is just a Power Factor Correction PFC Capacitor with an LED Light Which you may find in Fluorescent and HID Lamps Even if that did work for you However billing for electricity is done a different way in homes as it is done in factories and large commercial premises so there is no advantage in fitting this scam at home If you are in large commercial premises then a PFC Specialist company would be your best bet

So glad I checked Trust Pilot
Wow what a relief I was seconds away from clicking the green button to purchase this so called wonder device The thing is my mum always said if it sounds too good to be true then it is I should have known better as an engineer myself the graphs looked a bit dodgy and really would have been more credible if they were accompanied with electrical calculations supporting the evidence A second class confidence trick please don t be fooled

Before running a classic car company I
Before running a classic car company I was an electronics engineer The ONLY way you can save any money on electricity is if you have THREE PHASE and try to use the same amount on each Phase All domestic supplies are single phase and the only way to save money is to use less electricity or dangerously by pass the meter which is HIGHLY DANGEROUS and ILLEGAL I am disgusted that many so called reputable advertising platforms and newspapers are accepting these adverts They just take the money and shut their eyes WHERE ARE YOU ADVERTISING STANDARDS STOP THIS SCAM

Snake oil
When I read their lengthy ad full of fluff and very little logic I got sceptical I am an engineer and I understand electricity Even if a device cleans the signal of noise and there little value to the signal shape in this case it cannot save significant amounts of energy It might improve efficiency marginally and somewhat help plugged in devices but that is about all I d expect False advertisement is what I d call it Blatant Anyone ever heard of electrical snake oil Which is why I won t buy one

One star is way too many for these
One star is way too many for these nasty crooked hooligans I am not sure why the countries that produce such charlatans do not punish them the same way they punish innocent people for the slightest crime I feel bad for those individuals who had already bought them out of desperation to get some money saved as the energy companies too are similar taking advantage of people I believe these crooks are from the US and not sure why they are allowed to deceive people Someone should put a stop to them

Vastly overpriced marketing scam
This is a capacitance device that purports to smooth out the voltage in your house Grid voltage varies which affects the efficiency of electric motors This device is supposed to improve this efficiency and therefore saves on wasted power However the only regular use motors that I have in my house are the CH water pump and the refrigerator compressor Otherwise hairdrier diy tools vacuum cleaner oven fan Not much BTW they cost 4-50p on eBay Worth a try at that price Another marketing scam Save your money

SCAM
Anyone with an ounce of knowledge of schoolboy physics or electrical training will know that this is a scam They are selling to the gullible and not doing too well at it apparently marketing magic unicorn fairy dust for hundreds of pounds The problem is when your electricity bill stays exactly the same and you ve wasted lots of money you can t easily sue them - they don t aim at their home US market - note the phone number for U S is actually a U K number And that photo of the 3 gimps labelled founders at a tech expo is hilarious
