Bombardment

I made a general enquiry online which I chose not to confirm or pursue I have since been bombarded with texts emails phone calls etc I unsubscribed from emails and explained to the persistent woman on the phone this behaviour would ensure I never used them and please delete me from their records Since then I have received numerous texts Do they truly believe such behaviour will win customers

The customer has a right to cancel a contract within 14days I cancelled my contract within 2days and Go Assist are still refusing to refund me 107 95 which includes the cost of repair which I cancelled and 8 95 for the first month of the contract If I don t receive a full refund 107 95 by13 3 24 I shall be contacting Trading Standards

Lots of semi-hidden financials be careful about what you sign up for read things very carefully otherwise you will find extras being taken e g insurance

I used this company a year ago They gave me membership for a year that I didn t want On 4 mar they emailed me saying they would be renewing my membership for 69 99 I rang them and told them I didn t want it Yesterday they charged my credit card for 69 99 Luckily my bank flagged it up and I rejected it

This company is just making money engineer came without any tools he came just open fridge door and see and jus sad we can t repair And woke out in 2 min without any tools he not check properly and the guy is so much in rush and

Harassing Calls

I genuinely made a Trust Pilot account just to review this company I enquired about a fridge freezer repair and ultimately decided against it because it was too costly and bought a new fridge freezer second hand I kept getting calls so I informed Go Assist that I didn t need a repair any more Since then I ve been getting text after text and call after call from them I blocked their number and they re now calling me off a different mobile number It s at the point where I genuinely feel harassed by this company trying to make a sale that I do not need Do not enquire about your appliances if you do not know 100 you re going to use their services They re seriously bothering me

AVOID GO ASSIST AT ALL COSTS

I really don t know where they get all of their 5 star reviews from I went onto the Go assist website to get a quote for a microwave repair but when they wanted credit card details before anything else I didn t take it any further and did not submit the enquiry However I had made the mistake of entering my phone number and have had at least 2 calls a day from them since They also pass your details to their associate company Big Warranties who want to sell you a warranty to cover your electrical white goods I ve had to block their phone numbers and they can only leave a voicemail which I instantly delete They have been told that I no longer require their services they text messaged me a price of from 89 to repair the microwave and that goes a long way to paying for a new one I ve since used a local company to supply a new one and they said that microwaves are extremely difficult to repair and it s rarely possible to do so AVOID this company

Fixed it but hassled and charged me after cancellation

Managed to get my freezer fixed but they hassled me on a weekly basis to sign up to more coverage I did not need nor want Despite cancelling my policy with them months in advance they still charged me for another year

Communication Overkill

I used the Go Assist website to get a repair quote to compare this price against other services They were more expensive than other companies so I decided not to pursue this However in 6 hours I ve received 4 phone calls telling me to confirm my booking no booking was made 3 text messages telling me that things have been booked and reserved again I haven t done anything other than ask for the quote and 3 reminder emails The deliberate mis-messaging and the amount of communication I ve received 10 messages in less than a day feels like it s pushing me into making a forced decision Even though I have informed them that I do not wish to continue I am still receiving communications A great way to scare away potential customers Seems almost desperate

ABSOLUTELY AVOID AT ALL COSTS NOTHING BUT CON MEN CAME TO TEST OUR FAULTY APPLIANCE TOLD WE NEEDED TWO PARTS WHICH WE PAID FOR THEY THEN EMAILED A WEEK LATER TO SAY PARTS WERE IN AND THEY WOULD BE ROUND ON WEDNESDAY WEDNRSDAY CAME MY TEMANT TOOK ANOTHER UNPAID DAY OFF WORK TO THEN GET A CALL THAT MID MORNING SAYING ERROR IN EMAIL AND PARTS NOT RECEIVED SO WOULD BE THE WEEK AFTER TO BE FIXED TENANT TOOK YET ANOTHER DAY OFF UNPAID THEY CAME FITTED THE PARTS BUT DIDNT EVEN BOTHER TESTING TO MAKE SURE IT WORKED TENANT TRIED TO USE AND THE SAME FAULT WAS STILL THERE IVE REQUESTED 6 TIMES YHAG I SPEAK WITH A MANAGER AND 4 TIMES BEEN REASSURED IL GET A CALL WITHIN 24HRS 4 DAYS ON 7 CALLS TO THEM AND YET NO ONE CARES ABOUT CUSTOMERS LUVAS AND THE OTHER GIRL IN CUSTOMER SERVICE ARE NOT VERY WELL TRAINED AND ARE SERIOUSLY USELESS AND CONDESENDING IN SUCH A OBNOXIOUS VOICE TO TELL YOU THEY WONT PASS YOU TO MANAGEMENT THEN TO TOP THIS OFF WE HAD THE ENGINEER CONTACT US LAST NIGHT TO STATE HE HAD A QUERY ON THE RECALL OF OUR FRIDGE FREEZER EVEN THOUGH IT IS A DISHWASHER WE REPORTED SERIOUSLY SHABBY AND USELESS AVOID AT ALL COSTS
