Wasting time and money

A very lovely customer advisor called us and arranged a fantastic tutor for the first week After signing the contract the tutor and the advisor disappeared we cannot contact them and they stopped providing any service They also reject terminating the contract right now we are paying each month without any service and preparing for taking legal action because they told us that we have to pay 6 months no matter if we have any service or not It sounds crazy but I have all records e-mails phone calls Whatsapp messages to prove it

I am currently an Account Manager at GoStudent I am thinking of quitting My old team leader Uneake has claimed to have mental illness however she is on holiday partying We have a new TL she is fine but Uneake messed things up for us as a team Worst company to work at New head of sales Jon has got released he genuinely has done nothing for the company but he is a hubspot police officer There is no stability in this company I would not recommend working here I am looking to leave soon

Was not happy with this tutor book sessions without our knowledge using our credits up and when my daughters computer crashed by the time she got back online the tutor had gone

The service is adequate at best and if it doesn t work for your child they do not let you cancel A company with little interest in children s learning all about the money and pot luck as to whether your tutor is suitable Cannot leave a customer number below as they have made this your phone number so you are unlikely to do so

Please read the small print When we initially contacted go student they were keen and enthusiastic We discussed our needs for one months tuition of 8 sessions to support our child through the 11 We paid for the 8 lessons The tutor was excellent a very good match and extremely supportive However we were then subsequently charged for another 2 months without us knowing As we had made our needs clear on the phone we didn t check that we had actually signed up for a subscription which took over 300 a month from our credit card We had not had any lessons for these months as we didn t realise we were still paying Once we realised we called go student and was told it was an honest mistake and they were sure to refund the full amount as they could see the service hadn t been used A month later sbd still no refund so we called again and after many WhatsApp emails and waiting in phone queues we were told that they would only refund one months subscription We explained the financial hardship this was causing us but they didn t respond Another few weeks and still no refund not even the 1 months subscription Still chasing it

I wasn t happy with their service and asked them so many times that I would like to cancel my membership with gostuden but they don t listen They just keep taking the money out of my account without my permission Last month my children only had 3 or 4 lessons out 8 I asked for refund but instead they again took this months money out of my account without my permission They don t care for children s learning or parents satisfaction all they care about is the money

To all parents here I work as an account manager here at GoStudent previous wrote a review this company has no integrity they literally will steal your money for the commissions of their pockets We do not care about you at all It is all a lie I will soon be leaving this company to pursue a more ethical and a role with morals Please stay away from this company for the sake of your kids bank account and mental health Do not believe the empathy that we give you for your kid s because in reality we do not care We are a money-driven company Ed-tech is all about change and support Stay safe and avoid GoStudent

I prescribed to go student to get tutor

I prescribed to go student to get tutor for my son the tutor was fine but the direct debit was taking from my account was more than the worth of promised lesson given to my son as the tutor was cancelling the lesson at the last minute after a while there was 350 credit worth of lessons so when I discussed this issue they won t issue any refund or cancelling two months of direct debit for the tutor to catch up so I assumed the longer I keep the service the credit will grow when I decided to cancel they won t refund the credit they said that part of the agreement so total scam reminded me of Angel city film

People need to be aware that go student

People need to be aware that go student will charge you for all the school holidays even when your child has not attended Go student are not paying their tutors which I believe it s unfair for parents to be paying this They don t disclose this to parents which I thinks is unfair and cheating to us Be AWARE before you agreed to their contract
