Tried to sign up last year and they couldn t port my number over which 8x8 did without issue Tried again this year and their sign-up process is buggy - can t sign up from Android or web and customer service is PATHETIC Long delays in responses inept tech support - avoid

Horrible
EDIT A year after cancelling my account - they still haven t given me a refund when I canceled 1 week after it auto-renewed And now they ve charged my credit card AGAIN This company is fraudulent - do NOT do business with them Unbelievable Their system often doesn t transfer calls to my cell phone and when it does I can t answer the call because it doesn t recognize when I press 1 - after HOURS on the phone with customer service they tell me it s a problem with the carrier Hello I use Verizon - THE NUMBER ONE CARRIER IN THE UNITED STATES Seriously I ve been with them for a few years and have had constant problems with their system resetting my settings on it s own which they deny DON T USE GRASSHOPPER

Canceled our service and shut down our business without noticed for issues they cost
I haven t using grasshopper for several years For the most part at worked However they changed a payment policy without informing us and no longer accept our bank account or debit card and are requiring to get a credit card Since we were unaware of this when they tried our renewal it did not go through because they no longer accept a debit cards We had 14 minutes from the time that they notified us that the payment didn t work till they canceled our account and shut down our services We provide emergency services and life or death responses and one of our major clients couldn t reach us and my responding officers could not communicate because they shut down our services after 14 minutes They re giving us no other options than to go out and get a credit card specifically to pay them and we have 4 days to do it or they re canceling our services again The absolute worst way to treat a customer

Do not use this company
Do not use this company - the company does not disclose all fees auto renews with no email or reminder will not refund money for yearly subscription after 30 days of use Deceptive and does not show renewal date in your account anywhere P S in trying to obtain any money back they said 12 months a go we said you can t cancel so that applies to the renewal one year later that we provided no notice for and don t show in your account

Horrible Customer Service
I had originally intended to set up an account with Grasshopper based upon reviews and ease of use However after the initial deposit my account was locked I contacted customer service several times until they finally sent an account closed e-mail I am still waiting for the initial seed funds to be returned to my account Thankfully I simply started with 200 and didn t risk more money The whole experience feels like an elaborate scam

Grasshopper charged me several hundred dollars more that they stated they would When you call their number to cancel they don t answer the telephone They don t tell you this up front but they say before they can cancel your account you must transfer your 800 number to another carrier which they say may take up to 6 weeks Very dishonest company

Fraud Support and Pathetic Service They will cancel your subscription without informing you and won t tell you any reason whatsoever for this act And moreover they won t return your money back If you are using your contact details anywhere in your business branding you will have to re do everything by applying for a new number Because they won t let you regain that number at all Beware of this scam service provider Its very risky for your business

Shady company
Shady company I have had Grasshopper for several years I renew every October pay in full Well sometime in March see a pending charge for 600 bucks from grasshopper Called lady said they don t see anything on their side and give it time may be an error 1 week later they processed that 600 charge called back they said they don t see it on their side and basically I must be lying I told them theres clearly some fraudulent charges coming from their company and asked to remove my card Said couldn t remove my card and said call bank Bank took care of the fraud and reversed fees thankfully 2 days later not able to login into grasshopper I suggest to anyone looking to look elsewhere
