I ll make this short but brief

I ll make this short but brief if you wish to buy a new home just be aware of the annoyances that come with it Fantastic experience up to the point of handover and that s where it goes downhill Just be aware if you have a snag list once you ve moved in your better off repairing these items yourself Site managers are fantastic guys but there fellow workers let them down massively by not caring when doing basic repair work Such a shame as they build the value of being a prestigious home developer but there are way too many minor defects that should have been picked up on before we moved in Appliances not checked before move in dirt under your kitchen kick-boards and then further damage to your home when they are supposed to be repairing your new house From what I can gather by neighbours I m not the first and unfortunately won t be the last upset customer Such a shame

I purchased flat from Hayfield 18

I purchased a flat from Hayfield Homes just over a year ago and there have been lots of issues with the shoddy work of the new property development since I moved in The whole management is difficult and unhelpful and makes you feel you are moaning when any new build should have a 10-year warranty and snags are a part of their business even if they don t want to deal with them They have made my life a misery Please do avoid any new build from this company they are cowboys and unprofessional I am sorry I was fooled by the positive reviews regards Natalie

We brought our Hayfield Home July 2020

We brought our Hayfield Home July 2020 We had numerous problems dealt with But we did not realise the problem with our guttering after our 2 years warranty had run out When we have downpour the water cascades over the top of the guttering I got another Roofing company to do a report and they told me the guttering has been put up incorrectly and the water is flowing in the wrong direction not going to the down pipe Also since this has happened we have a wet patch on our living room carpet inside the living room where the water cascading down is coming through under the French doors NHBC don t cover the guttering but advised me to go back to Hayfields Unfortunately Hayfields don t want to know which is a shame

Disappointing landscaping and no response from Hayfield

We moved into Hayfield Wood in Autumn 2022 We chose this site because of the design of the house and estate and planned extensive landscaping and open spaces Overall we have been very happy with the house and most of the snagging has been dealt with well However the open areas are a complete mess and nothing like the sales team promised The communal areas are overgrown full of weeds and there are well over 100 dead trees that Hayfield planted Numerous other trees were not staked or so poorly done the stakes and ties broke straight away The wild flower areas last Summer consisted of a forest of 6ft high thistles Last year Hayfield assured me the dead trees and other issues would be dealt with As virtually nothing happened I have tried to contact Hayfield several times and emails go unanswered or promised call backs never happen Don t believe Hayfields promises of good landscaping

Terrible After Purchase Experiences

I have to say that my experience of buying a Hayfield Home has been far from satisfactory ever since we moved in 2021 When we moved in the heating and hot water did not work and there have been a succession of snagging issues Now we are moving to a different area I have found out that the Land Registry have removed our registration and my solicitors have been trying for over three months to get Hayfield to amend two small documents to correct the issue They tell me they have done it but my solicitors keep saying that they haven t done anything and it is affecting my sale

Zero starss

Super slow developer I hope they don t go to your area as they have caused flooding damage to local roads pavements You will also have traffic lights in the local area for months because they cannot quickly install a crossing Hayfield - Hurry up and finish the development fix the damage to roads and pavements and leave our village please And don t come back

Don t care about the local community

Don t care about the local community Prior to any building commencing the developer was meant to have installed a pedestrian crossing This was then delayed but promised by the start of the new school term Now November and still no hint of it being completed Add into this the flooding due to the development being built on natural springs disruption has been ongoing for ages

Hayfield Homes - only in it for the money

Hayfield Homes have built a demonstrably ill fitting development in the Lavingtons in Wiltshire It has been built in a field well known locally for the number of springs in it The initial build phase caused appalling flooding As part of the planning the developers were committed to installing a traffic-light controlled pedestrian crossing across Lavington Lane They put this off then started then stopped having come up with some mealy-mouthed excuse about not knowing where the services were
