Had I known the SECOND call was going

Had I known the SECOND call was going to last for 1 1 2 hours I probably would not have answered the phone Or when discovering I was going to have to try to type one handed the convoluted story of my last claim I should have insisted email me the questions I will answer return On top of that it was re explaining my medical history that I had already done to another person the previous week Tho I understand the need as YET AGAIN the person on the other end had misunderstood a number of things this seems to be a regular occurrence then you discover your private health insurance provider has wrong information because they have further misinterpreted the broker s misinterpretation of your explanations of past health issues It gets exhausting

I have used the free service of the Health Insurance specialists for several years now and they have always been very helpful in getting me the best private health insurance deal This year there was a bit of a glitch as I had to chase them up They thought that my renewal date was a couple of days later than it actually was and they hadn t contacted me in plenty of time They were very apologetic This has never happened before and it would not stop me using their normally five star service They are very polite friendly and easy to talk to and I had a direct line to the person that was dealing with my renewal when I had further queries Apart from the necessary phone questions for a different insurance package I was guided through the process and all the forms were dealt with for me and the set up did not take long to complete Because of the new insurance policy being taken up with a different company was only being dealt on the day the other expired it meant that the previous insurers had already deducted my annual direct debit to them for 2024 before their policy was cancelled I am assured that will automatically get the money back soon as there is a 14 day change your mind clause and at this stage I have no concerns

I have been taking out health insurance through this company for some years but this time renewal has been rather problematic It has dragged on and been difficult to get responses certainly at a time that helped me as I was on holiday prior to renewal However they have now found me a better deal and will be moving me over to another company which is proving cheaper so all has worked out well in the end
