Very slow processing refund

Delivery was slow Item failed to perform as expected Great emphasis is given to right to return but refund was far too long in being processed Added to which communication was disappointing

Was a bit disappointed all round to be honest Paid extra for 24 hrs and plenty of time for item to be dispatched that day I ordered on a Friday which is obviously late in the week but still perfectly fine as to ok for Saturday If not then why would it be an option there or anything underneath stating different I emailed asking if I would be receiving next day when it started getting late Was told no as I should of selected Saturday delivery There s no Saturday delivery there or anything stating such I asked what one is Saturday delivery and they changed the su ject and gave no answer It arrived on Tuesday as Monday was a Bank Holiday which is fine When I received it it was wrapped in a bin bag and taped around Who even does that Only good was got replies to my emails

Order was cancelled not informed

Placed an order on 11 Feb waited a few weeks and no update on dispatch 12 March I emailed them to ask for an update and one of the items I ordered still was not in stock Apparently because it was after 30 days my order payment was automatically timed out which meant I had to reorder No one emailed me that my order was practically cancelled and I could ve just waited like a fool forever Mark however was kind enough to help suggest a similar item to the one that was out of stock but was slightly more expensive Reordered paid and received products the next day which surprised me Whole process could have been great if someone just told me my order was cancelled

Poor experience

Placed an order Was not told that the item was out of stock The item even months after the order was still showing as available on the website even though i was still waiting for the item to be delivered Communication was minimal with all but one email been ignored

Order was fine when made on the Wednesday and i paid additional for next day delivery as i was needing my turntable for the Saturday It didn t arrive until the following Thursday and as i was at work it was returned to sender I eventually got a refund but it was 5 odds short Won t be using them again I m afraid

Well although the Ortofon stylus 20 was

Well although the Ortofon stylus 20 was a good price the packaging was badly damaged to the extent that the plastic container inside the cardboard box was shattered and I am suer that it was only the stylus guard that saved it I do have photos Happily the stylus itself seems to play well Obviously it wasn t packed securely but I don t know whether that was yourselves or the carriers

Good prompt service but

On reflection it s a bit of a swizz 30 days after my purchase the price reduces by another 50 It was supposed to be in the sale when I bought it Beware misleading sale prices

1 needle instead of 2

My order arrived on time with no damages However I ordered 2 needles and only one turned up

The online shop needs work I ordered and paid for a new turntable that the website said was in stock The following day I received an email stating they hoped to have some in stock by the end of next week and would let me know when it d be ready to ship Other than that price and product we re good

Delivery was the issue

Whilst HiFi X did all they could to ensure an efficient service they have unfortunately chosen Parcelforce as their courier I have had other poor experiences with them and this purchase was yet another example with poor communication and their failure to deliver within the promised time window I strongly suggest they use another courier service i e DPD who have made a number of very efficient deliveries to me in the past
