Avoid this company
Don t use this company Been a gold package customer for many years Had the very unfortunate experience of a gas leak found at my annual boiler and safety test Be very careful if you have an older property When taking out the policy you are under the impression all internal pipe work is covered The gas leak in my kitchen hob was attached to metal pipe excluded from policy 3 days later a manager called to say all the above I argued who would know what a houses pipework would be made of He was rude obnoxious and spoke over me not allowing me an opportunity to speak He terminated the call and said my account was being cancelled They have left me in a position were I will have to find someone to rectify the issue Utterly disgusting and appalling service from this company I m writing this review to alert homeowners to throughly look over the small print before signing up to any homecare packages with them Absolutely advise caution with this company Tried to be proactive in taking the all dancing gold package but been bitten both financially and given the worst customer service when trying to use it On a side note the company managers need some customer care training I thought I had the right to cancell the policy but was very wrong there The manager told me basically consider your cover terminated

No letters received about first and
No letters received about first and second boiler service appointment so they literally appeared out of nowhere and I didn t know if the man was legitimate or some thief scam as I had zero notification that the service was happening Apparently they tried to gain access on my birthday which I spent the whole day at home and they did not even knock my door

Took out the gold membership Had a plumber out told the problem can be fixed but not till the week after Ok no follow call to arrage a time they turn up no notice given im at work so not home have to wait a other week to get a flushing toilet Not good enough Will be looking eleswhere

AVOID AT ALL COSTS
Had this company out 4 days ago to install central heating i told my housing association i did not have any confidence in this company entering my home but they insisted everything would be fine so i had no choice as they were the contractors who would be doing the workTo cut a long story short the engineers arrived on time the entered my house and began to take old radiators off walls and proceed to pour all the black gunge into my toilet pan and also into my walk in shower they then put dirty black marks all over my white walls and doors my brand new leather 3 2 seaters were caked in dust there was no dustsheets or protection of anykind used during the morning as work was being done they managed to set fire to my home by drilling hole for gas supply they drilled through a wooden frame cavity and hit a bit of would the wood got so warm inside cavity that the paper membrane between the walls had caught fire and was burning away inthe cavity after 2 or 3 attempts to put fire out they decided to call fire service and within 15 mins i had 13 firefighters at my home they came into house and started breaking plasterboard with axes to put fire out i have called this company everyday to speak to a director or projects manager and i get told they wont speak to me2 days after the fire i still didnt hear from them so i called them and a supervisor sent a 16yr old boy to clean my house with a packet of wet wipes i refused him entry its now day 4 since fire still cant get to speak with management instead the supervisor who sent the 16yr old was at my door with a hoover and cleaning stuff so i will be calling again tomorrow i am self employed and lost between 1200- 1400 in wages and had my home wrecked into the bargain ive been in contact with a solicitor and also the glasgow live news team if i dont get a phone call before 12 lunchtime im goin to my mp and also informing daily record the sun and the evening times i was left to sit on a box until today thurs as i could not sit on my sofas with amount of dirt and grit on themStay well clear of these cowboys

Words fail me
Recently took out contract with James frew and since boiler was serviced by an engineer I have had nothing but bother with boiler I think it is now 4 call outs in just over a month Boiler off again Try to phone and it is murder listening to how good they are with recording and hanging on as am 14 in queue Now for another long phone call and engineer will arrive at ungodly hour One time phoned to say coming at 10 at night Husband in bed Last night in for 5 mins then out the door without checking and now woken at 4 am by terrible noise from boiler and radiators Heating and water off again HELP

They caused a fault - I had to buy a new boiler
Had the boiler serviced prior to moving house - gave me a certificate of the service - yet introduced a fault a leak A number of engineers then couldn t find the fault as the leak was relatively minor - but still enough to cause a stain on the plasterboard ceiling below Lastly an engineer wrecked the boiler so badly it had to be turned off over the selling period and I had to then buy my buyers a new boiler I am still waiting on a response from a formal complaint

Avoid this company at all costs
Avoid this company at all costs I have a Bronze Level Gas Sure contract which I ve had since I moved into my property 8 and a half years ago On Friday 11th of June my boiler got its yearly service and now my boiler thermostat and timer are all broken This isn t the first time that the engineers of this company have caused a fault in my boiler after servicing it I will be cancelling this contract as soon as I am able to and filing a complaint with the company themselves

I ve sent three emails not a single replyI ve been emailing the only email that s on your very own website your engineer FINALLY pressed the button with his job title on it so why was I sent threatening letters to cut off my gas when in the end it was all down to your engineers inability to read or call the occupier
