Not worth the hype and cost
Not worth the hype and cost Been wearing their slippers but the inner soles wear out fast and I had to keep buying a pair of new shoes every three months Way better brands out there I also tried their tennis shoes but they didn t fit my feet - too wide despite going down two sizes Be aware their return policy is only 45 days most shoes 90 days and customer service was awful I m out 175 No longer buying Kuru or recommending to friends Better brands out there

Worst customer service and product
I purchased the shoes based on the recommendation of my friend and it has been the worst shoe purchase ever I tried to reach back to them but they were more concerned about the their return policy time that I had missed Honestly I bought Hoka and Kuru at the same time and that is why I missed the deadline but any case I would not recommend this shoes to anyone

Do not order these shoes if you live in
Do not order these shoes if you live in Canada Paid 154 in duties for two pairs they fit way larger than the brand I typically wear so I had to return them Cost me an additionally 75 to ship the return since I m not in the US So I paid 225 to NOT have shoes FB marketplace in my city is full of people trying to offload their Kuru shoes that don t fit them because returning them costs so much

Order from the UK - shoes not arrived no communication appalling service
I placed on order on 18 July from the UK for my first pair of Kuru shoes after reading a very impressive review It wasn t until after I completed the purchase and received the confirmation email that I was made aware that they were being shipped from Chicago The shoes were shipped on 18 July arrived in the UK on 3 August and cleared customs on 14 August I have now sent four email to the courier company requested a delivery update and received no reply I have also sent three emails to Kuru support and not received any response to the last two emails The customer service from this company is non existent Without engaging with me there is no possibility of them creating a refund which leaves me no other option than to report to my credit card company

Don t buy kuru
Don t buy kuru they do not stand behind the warranty or return policy I bought a pair for 150 and wore them 4 days on the board walk in June and they gave me a blister on my heel because the right shoe heel gave me a blister because it wasn t formed right with the stitches of and no padding Asked for warranty they denied it for exchange of bad Craftsmanship with proof of picture and no wear on the shoe The worst shoe I ever bought for that amount of money If I could post pictures on here I would to prove how they treat customers that s ok I bought 4 other pairs of shoes else where since I couldn t wear kuru Yes I buy a lot of shoes I have currently about 45 pairs soon to be 44 after I burn my kuru online and explain why

High import fees to Canada
I live in Quebec Canada I have bought a pair of Kuru Quantum 2 shoes that cost me 250 CAD However when FEDEX delivered the package I was shocked to find out I had to pay 97 in import fees I have tried to contact kuru company by e-mail but have not heard from them yet 48 h later I have also tried to return the shoes for a refund and found out that I wasn t eligible since I didn t live in the US I think that in order to be transparent the company should make it CLEARER that the refund policy only applied to USA and should strongly recommend to international buyers to check import fees before buying Of course they would sell less shoes for that reason but at least they wouldn t have many customers that feel like they were misinformed and that will not trust the company anymore So if you are a Canadian customer I recommend that you buy shoes from another company unless you are willing to pay an extra 100 total of 350 CAD for a pair of shoes

If you are ordering in Canada you will get nailed with an exorbitant duty fee
Horrendous I was hit with an 87 charge on top of the already expensive shoes I ordered because KURU does nothing to address customs and duty fees for their customers They don t make this clear during checkout and know you re just going to get nailed with this fee when it arrives and they do not provide any cooperation to cover fees or reimburse They are intentionally misleading and do not provide this information during checkout I love these shoes and used to recommend these to everyone I know but this is the last time I will ever order from here

Ordered shoes in Canada AND PAID FOR
Ordered shoes in Canada AND PAID FOR SHIPPING INSURANCE through Kuru Fedex did not deliver once I realized they had the shoes at customs the 5 day hold window was over Additionally much to my shock the additional customs cost for the shoes was 70 Nonetheless they said they no longer had the shoes I contacted Kuru - they refused to refund even though I had the shipping insurance They said they needed to physically have the shoes back to refund They did not care that I had insurance BUYER BEWARE - I STILL HAVE NO REFUND AND I HAVE NO SHOES - my next call will be VISA The shoes may be great for your feet but the costs and inability to refunded for no product is bad for your pocketbook I would never buy from this company again UPDATE - Dec 2023 - within hours of me registering a complaint to VISA KURU contacted me by email to say that they were going to refund me but couldn t now because there was a chargeback complaint and now it might take months for me to get my money back They further said if I could cancel the complaint they d immediately refund me I did not cancel the VISA complaint - I ve already waited months for a resolution This company not only took my money for shoes but charged for INSURANCE and has never refunded me - Their insurance product seems fraudulent if it doesn t pay for non-receipt of product There business practices are very questionable ZERO STARS FOR KURU
