Lazy Boy has become Lazy company
bought what we thought was high quality leather sofa and two recliners purchased from Johnny Janosik in delaware the leather is peeling so we contacted the extra warranty company guardsman they quickly stated not their problem manufacturers defect Janosik than contacted lazy boy and they said not their problem either nobody wants to be responsible for the issue at the end we purchased from janosik who sold for lazy boy who blame each other but screw the consumer

Defective leather dye
Taladega leather power recliner purchased just over two years ago and the coloring has worn away already on head and armrests Expected normal wear and tear fading but this is a complete loss of coloring exposing white subsurface Of course defective leather dye is not covered under warranty Last time I ll ever buy ANYTHING at LZB Save your money ABQ NM

I am in Canada and got Lazboy about a month back Within the first month of delivery the cushion started sagging you sit and it is one of the most uncomfortable sofas to sit on you just sink in it It has started to give me backache Contacted them and they say it is not a manufacturing fault This is extremely disappointing and extremely poor customer service One pays a premium to get good quality products and have peace of mind unfortunately Lazboy is one of the worst products even I bought their protection plan which should cover any cushion sagging The lint has started to come out Would not recommend this to anyone to waste their hard-earned money on this pathetic product with lousy customer service

LAZYBOY Junk
We purchased and had LAZYBOY dual recliner delivered in December 2022 In May June 2023 timeframe we contacted Springfield Illinois store about getting recliner repaired or refund issued Refund denied Several weeks went by before contact We were Told service technician in training Several weeks later service rep came to home determined dual recliner needed new mechanisms for each side and new backs for both sides Parts were ordered So far mechanisms have been delivered I informed svc dept early August and was advised again that new technician is in training and once training is completed svc will be scheduled I asked about seat backs also and was advised they were being shipped August 11th Still no seat backs I ve consistently attempted further contact to no avail Recliner is useless and dangerous without mechanisms I ve also attempted to contact corporate LAZYBOY but keep getting caught in loop I will NEVER purchase LAZYBOY products again LAZYBOY is junk

Unhappy Lazy boy customer
Sofa delivered on 4-17-23 had grease spots 3 different noticeable areas Redelivered yesterday and grease on arm still there No refunds allowed which is Ludacris and now they want pics Do not buy ever from lazy boy purchased at Clearwater store

DO NOT BUY LEATHER FROM LAZ-Y-BOY
We have a very expensive Laz-y-boy leather sectional sofa The leather is showing very bad wear and tear but we hardly ever use it It s in our bonus room and has probably only been sat on less than 30 times total The areas where it is peeling are not even areas that are touched Just flaking off the leather is worse than cheap pleather because it is peeling off like an egg on the back sides and cushions I called them and they said there is only a year s warranty I m trying to find my paperwork when I bought it but seems like I recall them saying their leather products have a longer warranty This sofa was over 5 000 and it will have to be pitched or donated because I am not going to invest money almost more than we paid originally to have it recovered Go somewhere else for your leather home furnishings

Increased Price Decreased Quality
This is the 4th La-Z-boy Rocker Recliner I ve owned in the past 18 years they don t last very long because the springs in the seat and seat back have a tendency to break I weigh 225 and the weight capacity is 300 This chair the Reed model is by far the most uncomfortable one I have ever owned The floor model in the store was very comfortable but the same style I had delivered to my house was as hard as a rock my butt falls asleep after about 10 minutes in this chair I m hoping that when it is broken in and not just broken it will soften up but right now I m squirming while trying to get comfortable as I m writing this review I ride an old Harley and after a 100 mile ride my rear end feels better than 20 minutes in this chair The people at La-Z-Boy need to re-think this design This chair is JUNK

Laz-e-boy furniture denied to fix or
Laz-e-boy furniture denied to fix or replace a Natalie loveseat I had purchased from them in September When I looked at the loveseat when delivered I did not expect to have a hole in the side of the couch where the attached cushions are Laz-e-boy sent out a local furniture repair shop to come and take pictures but after 4 weeks of waiting and calling they denied my claim Customer service stated that Product control thought it was not anything untoward and denied my claim Anyone who comes into my living room from a distance of 2 feet can see the hole large enough for a mouse to make a home I was stunned that such an obvious flaw would be denied Please go elsewhere to buy your furniture Laz-e-boy is awful cannot talk to anyone other than customer service They should be ashamed of themselves for allowing this loveseat to be delivered with a blatant hole

Run DO NOT Walk from Lazy Boy
Run DO NOT Walk from Lazy Boy I purchased a leather sectional sofa in 04 2019 with all the bells and whistle warranties available My sofa started peeling after only being 4 years and 5 months old Leather doesn t peel The sales person sold it as a leather sofa This is fraud The sales people say how wonderful the warranties are They are NOT The warranty will not cover anything that is not accidental Meaning if you don t sit down on your piece of furniture with a very sharp object that would puncture the material then it will not be covered I followed their service request form and filled it out in Sept of 2023 heard nothing I followed up with Lazy Boy 11 27 23 only to be told that it was not a manufacturer defect They have their telephone representative read from a script that the issue is not a manufacturer defect They will give you another phone number to call You sit on hold only to be hung up on I would never give a 1 star to Lazy Boy but you had to give a star to be able to review Bottom line find another furniture store with better warranties and a company that will stand behind their product Lazy Boy does not

About a year in
About a year in and the stuffing is coming out under seat area back and lumber sunken in and slide mount for back is broken The warranty only covers labor for a year but the hardware has a lifetime warranty So that allows them to use inferior materials build and design methods and charge you more the warranty is a bogus scam It s designed and built to fail cheap cheap stay away from lazyboy
