Nurses administration of medication

Getting through to customer services is a breeze but attempting to get the nursing staff to administer medication on time has become impossible Messages are taken and emailed to the head of department after the miss the deadlines and still nothing is done

Nurses are being let down by comapny

In general I would agree with most of these reviews that the service is absolutely shocking at times However and I am touching wood here for the last good while I have had no major issues other than the delivery drivers forgetting to lift my house key which they have a copy of or not lifting sharps bins that have been left out for them Choosing instead to step over them on the way in and then the way out I have to say that mainly the reason for having no issues is down to nurse Jane McKellar coming up with a plan to make sure I don t get into a situation where I am waiting on a delivery to arrive so that I can get my infusion I have to say that although the company as a whole can be somewhat shambolic the nursing team could not be nicer and do their very best to make things run as smoothly as possible I get on really well with Jane who is lovely and the other nurses I occasionally have Coral and Catherine Its such a shame that the reviews are so bad when the nursing team are so nice and very knowledgeable

I have worked for Lloyds Pharmacy Homecare as a nurse in many roles for the past 15 years 30 years previous in the nhs I worked part time to allow good work life balance moving to full-time when my circumstances changed and now in junior management role I have always been proud to work for LPCH as their deep rooted ethos is to give the best possible care to our patients which we have strive to maintain and enable them to live a full life around their medical conditions Of course there are issues dealing with multiple departments but we as the nuring team and part of LPCH do our very best to make our patients happy and give them the best service possible and deliver an excellent clinical service working to accommodate the needs of individuals

From Techfidera to Dimethyl fumarate

I have received my alternative medication to my Techfidera but unfortunately the Dimethyl fumerate 240 mg does not show the day of the week which needs to be taken nor whether it is the morning or afternoon tablet that has to be taken which is imperitive This is necessary cos the packet holds a weeks worth of tablets and the patient must keep a track of all tablets taken at all times This is going to cause many problems with alot of patients

Profession Care

As always excellent service from the Lloyd s nursing team Today Coren Hall set up my infusion Coren is an outstanding nurse very professional friendly informative educated and caring always asking how I m doing I can t praise the service enough

Experienced kind and respectful

I have been having Lloyds Pharmacy for home infusions since May 2023 when I started a new drug The nurses are experienced kind and respectful My port is generally accessed first time Jane in particular goes above and beyond and always makes sure I have everything I need I have one concern and that is a couple of the nurses think it s absolutely fine to go into my garden and talk on the phone about my difficulties for all my neighbours to hear I won t name and shame here

Nursing team excellent Friendly sympathetic understanding and knowledgeable Always check in to confirm if you ve received delivery and if not happy to step in and sort out Been with LPCH since 2019 and had 2 hiccups with delivery which could have been managed a bit better by Customer Service Other than that can t fault my care

Very satisfied

I ve got nothing but praise for this company particularly the Specialist Oncology Nurse department I ve recently been very unwell for an extended period of time including a stint in hospital Throughout this period I ve been in constant contact with a Nurse Danielle Jacques who has gone above and beyond in her care for me She has contacted me daily to offer medical and emotional support as well as liaising with the hospital on my behalf and updating my Oncologist regarding my progress I wouldn t have gotten through this period without Danielle s support which has been consistent professional knowledgeable compassionate and motivating I would have given 5 stars for this review but this company really needs to overall its out-of-hours service which is currently lacking Thank you to Danielle Jacques and Lloyds for quality care and attention to patient detail
