Very very bad

Very very bad 9 out of 10 times the website service is not available and have to try another time This is very bad for a financial service provider Can definitely do much much better as a local bank leader The MAE app is also not user friendly and need way more improvement to be in par with international standard Consider to change bank even just use for 2 months

Maybank2u has the worst customer

Maybank2u has the worst customer support service ever The hotline is 24 hours however they never pick up any call I have tried to on hold for almost 40 mins nobody pick up the call If you want to offer customer support service that ghosted your clients why offer it at the first place Such a waste of time and effort from clients who are looking for solutions help from your end

Scam Bank

My Dad got Credit Card scam from scammer SMS He immediately called Maybank to report the scam case on the same day and the customer service ask him don t worry and don t have to pay for the credit card money but this investigate process will takes up 65 days After 2 months received report mention that was my dad fault and he must pay the full amount with interest CS said no need to pay but now charge with interest and tell us that the interest cannot be wave so ridiculous This was happen to UOB bank credit card as well but UOB deducted the scam amount 7 days DON T recommend to take Maybank card Daylight robbery

Xenophobia and many restrictions on foreigner

I am legal international student the Perak branch didn t accept to open banking account for me although I reside in perak state and ask me go to KL there are many restrictions on foreigners in this country The xenophobia spread over there Thay have MAE product and accept from few certain countries only concern to attract elite like daughters of diplomatics only Shame on them

Poor customer service of Maybank My dad can t understand the system my dad ask for son s help talk about deduction money at petrol pump Still ask for dad a details that my dad also can t understand and need my help for fill the details Stupid ever customer service

POOR HOTLINE CUSTOMER SERVICE

i called due to there s a notification from MAE said that i ve spend RM10 XX on 15 Nov where i didn t At first this customer service guy was okhe did helped me at the first place till i told him i also saw this similar transaction on 4 NOVthen he started to be so rude where he said IT S YOUR OWN FAULTYOU APPROVED THE TRANSACTIONthen i asked him if you say that i approved the transaction how about today s notificationhe replied IT S JUST A CONFIRMATION NOTIFICATION and said so we will still block your card and the replacement card cost RM50hello do you really think i called just to cheat you for that RM10 49 and also 4th transaction 15th confirm 11 days will anyone realized i don t mind to be charged that RM60 but can you please talk nicely and i serious didn t know the money i paid for this company is using another name and 11 days ago expecting everyone to remember every cent spend

My experience for the past 2 weeks with Puan Noraini of the Ampang Point branch of Maybank has been fantastic I had the best service from the wonderful lady and she solved my problem in such a calm and collected She was very understanding and very patient I wish all banks had such wonderful and patient staff like Puan Noraini Keep it up Puan Noraini You are an asset to the Malayan Banking branch at Ampang Point Best experienced ever and I hope the bank realizes what an asset she is to your bank I would never change my bank despite the other banks trying to woo us to open accounts with them Why would I want to trade in for their service when I have the best near me She never ignored my calls and was so calm I could just trust she would do her best to get my account in order It was the best I could ask for I hope due recognition will be given to this fantastic lady Staff like this are hard to come by Please appreciate this staff of yours This is what makes customers like me come back to your bank Without a doubt I am going to tell my friends to open their accounts with this bank

I was in Auckland when I got my Maybank

I was in Auckland when I got my Maybank infinite Visa card cancelled to avoid unauthorised transaction Maybank credit card customer service officer called me A replacement card was quickly done and couriered to me at Auckland As my Handphone had no global roaming facility its staff had to call me many times until I could use the replacement card with a temporary PIN Luckily Maybank credit card works on Apple Pay So I can still freely use my Maybank card in Auckland I was so impressed with Maybank credit card customer service staff They were so efficient extraordinary friendly and helpful Only Maybank credit card customer service will give this special service of calling its customers in overseas They called Auckland and chatted with me at least six times until the replacement card was issued and activated
