Do not risk it

During my time with bulb now rebranded as octopus my bill was massively messed up and caused me alot of stress and worry It took months for someone to listen to me and look in to it to be sorted When i left my final bill was hugely wrong and a couple of years later the difference of around 400 was returned to me After some months i was then offered 80 compensation which never arrived I emailed for 7 months to query this providing information and previous emails giving before giving up If you ever get through on the phone they never sound interested and you are usually cut off when they want to squeeze more money out of you you are harrassed with endless calls I do not reccomend risking using this provider despite the perks offered Look at the bulb reviews and similar negative ones starting to roll in for the new name thousends owed

Holding my money

Holding my money wont refund a massive balance Tried to request a refund on a balance as they havent reduced the DD to match only to be told I need to jump through these hoops so that some faceless power trip in finance can approve it I would go to the ombudsman but thats pointless as they are in the pocket of the energy companies Corrupt as hell

Sooo disappointed With Octopus they

Sooo disappointed With Octopus they sent an incorrect final Meter Reading To my previous supplier EON and now according to EON l owe them over 3000 l have tried for weeks to get this resolved with no Joy now looks like l will have to go to ombudsman Octopus please get this sorted as l am losing the will to live

NOT RECOMMENDED SHAMEFUL

Appalling customer service non responsiveness failure to resolve issues by three customer service reps 1 Aadil 2 Alex and 3 Kerr failure to manage complaints failure to respond to any and all emails regardless of who they re addressed to including Hello and Greg fobbed off I am vulnerable disabled customer with limited resources - gas metre not working - just tell me to wait months on end instead of just sending an engineer So I ll get a massive bill at some point Absolutely outrageous

No response to my emails since 20th December

I have been emailing Customer Services since 20th December as I am confused by my statement and I have still not had a reply I was told on 2nd January that all my emails would forwarded to a senior member of staff for a reply but to date I have not been contacted

Poor customer service

We have been trying to change our tariff since June Smart meter installed beginning of July Told it would take 4 weeks We are still waiting We have emailed and called promised call backs that never happen Last week we spoke to manager in complaints department Told our Smart meter has not worked Unknown to us since November They have no idea when it will be fixed It is now 6 months since this started and no resolution in sight

What a disappointing company

My bungalow is all electric changed from EDF to Octopus in October and despite numerous emails I still have had no monthly statement and the smart meter is still not working It usually takes them approx 3 weeks to reply to emails then they want the same info I have already supplied I really don t know how they have this 5 star rating as I find their responses laughable One ended with the signature Love Power and another was a Customer Happiness Specialist Really - just act in a professional way sort out customer s problems and cut out the gimmicks they used to be a good company but now they re a joke No customer service around in this country anymore or so it seems - how I would love to be proved wrong

ATROCIOUS SEVICE

I arranged for my tenant to pay the gas patr of the utility bill in November 23 Octopus have still not altered the bill showing the tenant is responsible and have taken the direct debit from myself Octopus have refused to repay me Ooctopus have acknowledged I am NOT responsible for the bill Octpupus have stopped communicating with me Octous have failed to give me the contact details for the regulator I have cancelled my direct debit Ocotpus have acted fraudulently by taking money from myself for a bill I am not repsonsiblle for AVOID IF YOU WANT AN ACCURATE BILL

Outrageously rubbish

Complained about lack of service Had an ev charger connected Despite numerous calls No one got back to me Raised a complaint over two weeks ago Called for an update a week ago and told no complaint was raised Called again Promised a call back Nothing They pride their customer service as outrageously good I d say outrageously rubbish Called again today No updates Appealing company Avoid Definitely do not get them to install a ev charger or use their ev services

Worst Energy Company Ever

Worst energy company ever they need to just send one statement a month they send multiple statements a month with different dates different payments of outgoings so you never know which one it is I will admit however Alfie has been lovely bless him However they might be one of cheapest companies but they are awful from day one I would not recommend
