15 Restocking Charge on small plastic parts
I recently purchased a onewheel XR and accessories associated with this unit in a pre bundled package totaling over 2300 Once I received the order I noticed duplicate items shipped totaling over 150 I expressed my excitement with receiving the XR but needed to return the duplicate items and was willing to pay for shipment back I only wanted a credit for the extra unopened items I was notified today that 2 days after receiving the items a 15 restocking fee would be applied once they deem them returnable I find it extremely disappointing to charge 15 on small plastic parts that weigh less then 5 pounds Buyer beware

Buyer Beware
Horrible experience The board has broken twice on me now Each repair has costed me hundreds of dollars The footpad sensor in the front is so sensitive if you look at it the wrong way it breaks I would not recommend buying a one wheel and go with a Boosted Board or anything else Buyer beware

Repair GOUGING and HORRIBLE warranty
Had onewheel pint for 1 year less than 50 total miles It stopped working several miles from home Sent it back to future motion who told me it was out of warranty and that the internal board needed to be replaced at a total cost of 412 Given that I spent 900 brand new this seems totally ridiculous Super bad business practice - those components should be made to last way longer than 50 miles The service team actually said that using the board less is probably what caused it to break unreal

Loved the product when it worked
Loved the product when it worked but only used it less than 80 miles in less than 1 year followed the guidelines given and battery failed and board would not power on Battery isn t included in the 1 year warranty They want 500 to repair Clearly a defect in the battery and I would understand if it had a lot of miles or a lot of charging cycles but this one was meticulously maintained and is clearly a defect in the production Purchased two units at the same time one completely failed the other no issue Dropped 3k and company won t stand behind it

I bought a One Wheel Pint from Future
I bought a One Wheel Pint from Future Motion a few months ago Everything was going fine until July 18th I was taking a casual ride up to the gym when my board suddenly stopped on a dime at full speed sending me flying into the sidewalk Board had a full charge I was riding properly and safely no obstructions on the side walk Wearing all appropriate safety gear There is no warning about this in the safety tutorials and instructions Even one of their associates told me over the phone that this was not supposed to happen This accident sent me to the ER with bruised ribs and a fractured right hand I m lucky it didn t send me flying into rush hour traffic I sent the board in for evaluation and they couldn t find anything wrong with it I asked for a refund despite the no refund policy because I didn t trust the board or the company anymore They denied Their explanation was this it s the magic of the board They suggested that I sell their unsafe board to someone else Well I wasn t going to put someone else s life in danger so I surrendered it back to them so that they could at least dispose of it properly or get some use out of it With me it would ve just ended up in the dumpster After the accident a recall notice was issued for a firmware update Turns out the issue that prompted the recall is exactly what caused my accident And I wasn t the only one who experienced it Thinking this was irrefutable proof that the board was unsafe to ride at the time of the accident I again asked for a refund Future Motion is sticking to their no refund policy despite the fact that their board was deemed unsafe by the CPSC The lack of good business ethics in this situation is absolutely appalling To add more frustration to the matter I used Klarna for financing Both Klarna and Future Motion have both been giving me the runaround claiming neither of them have the power to do anything about the situation Which is absolutely ridiculous

Worst Company to Do Business With
I honestly doubt there is a worse company to do business with They have little or no regard for their customers If they didn t have such a cool product they would have gone out of business years ago Can you imagine they discontinued their flagship 1 selling product XR before their were ready to ship its replacement GT which is a piece of garbage They crap all over their dealers to the point where their own dealers ALL hate doing business with them and talk trash about them Some company that understands how to build customer and dealer relationships should buy them and watch the product really blow-up Their Management is the WORST

They re locking down their products
They re locking down their products that WE OWN so that we can t repair them ourselves They only have one repair center in the USA and none internationally yet simply unplugging the battery even if you don t replace it will FORCE you to have to send the product back Stay away I can t believe these plebs are worse than Apple
