Asda opticians in Chapeltown Sheffield has finally got it s act together Due to a bad experience with a staff member a few years ago I went to Specsavers for my prescription and selected a pair of 85 for two spectacles After add -ons such as thinner lenses higher grade varifocals I was quoted 369 I decided to try Asda in Chapeltown and was surprised by the service Gone is the troublesome staff replaced by caring helpful people I selected a 2 for 1 clear sun priced at 120 This included everything I was quoted for at Specsavers 369 or 120 The decision was a no brainer and the spectacles are fine

A 6 week wait for an appointment and now I know why Outstanding service from the moment I arrived 4 different people from the lady who greeted me the one who performed various tests the one who did the eye examination and the one who helped me pick frames Knowledgeable friendly helpful and came up with a solution I hadn t even realised was possible just by actually listening to my needs and requirements Cannot recommend highly enough I went to Asda Bearsden and the price was the icing on the cake of a 5 star all the way service

I have used ASDA Opticians in Farnborough for many years and have found the staff always to be very pleasant and helpful Whenever I have had a new prescription and hence new glasses Jo has advised me on what frames suit me best and the new glasses have always fitted me well and the lenses have been true to the prescription Luckily in the last few years there has been little change in my prescription so I have never been persuaded to buy new glasses This week I went for my annual check up and saw a new ophthalmologist Khamer who was very patient and explained to me in detail the peculiarities of my eyes It was the most thorough eye test that I have ever had

I wouldn t recommend anywhere else I managed to get an emergency appointment for the next day as my pupils had gone different sizes and because of my anxiety I was completely freaking out All staff were so friendly but a special mention must go to Helen who couldn t have been anymore patient and understanding with me She talked me through everything and went above and beyond for me Thanks again couldn t have asked for better Very good value too

Excellent service from Asda Opticians Grantham

I had a nightmare scenario when I broke my last pair of glasses 3 weeks before my eye test I can t work without them The frames were old but a very kind gentleman at Asda Opticians Grantham hunted through dozens of frames to find one that would take my lenses and then changed them over thereby allowing me to keep working until I get my new glasses My only regret is that I don t know the gentleman s name but I cannot express how grateful I am that he went above and beyond to find a solution Sincere thanks

My search for new prescription glasses started out in another High Street Opticians I was insulted and shocked to be quoted almost 350 for new frames and thinner lenses So off I went to Asda Opticians with prescription in hand I paid just 45 for sturdy quality frames and thinner lenses My glasses were ready to collect within 5 days and I am delighted with my purchase from the Bishop Auckland store It really is about time that these other thieving High Street Opticians were not allowed to charge excessively for people with poor eyesight Thanks very much Asda
