Not my first overtone product but still nice stuff

I ve used this product before and it s fine It s not my first choice but I ve just learned that my two favourite products are no longer being sold I ll have to see if this substitute will work I hope so because I love this line of colour conditioner

I felt tricked into buying two products

Hi I love your product but I felt that the wording when I bought it was tricky It said I was offered the opportunity to buy the product for a lower price well honestly who wouldn t say yes Then it said it was for an additional item Of course that makes sense but I didn t need an additional version of the same thing So I felt I was tricked into buying two with no way to alter it or change it to another color

I received a free sample of Moisture shampoo from oVertone Color I liked how well it lathered up and what my hair looked like afterwards I didn t like the smell it was to thick making it harder to get throughout the entire head

Fun but nearly nonexistent color on virgin blonde hair

I have very light blonde virgin hair and expected much more vibrancy in the color The extreme red and vibrant purple did show up but were underwhelming The extreme blue and vibrant teal were basically non existent I coated each strand heavily on dry hair left it on for 30 mins and rinsed with warm water The blue strands ended up more gray than anything the red was more rosy and the purple faded drastically after 5 washes with a color safe shampoo conditioner Did not get anywhere near the results shown on the website Was fun but probably wouldn t buy again

Need new bottles

The tubs of color are fine the color washes out a little more quickly than desired but it s fine But the daily conditioner is impossible The bottle is way too hard to squeeze making it pretty much useless

Ordering and color great Packaging is faulty

Ordering is easy and seamless and I get great compliments on my fun hair color I can t give you 4 or 5 stars because your jars of color prevent me from getting the most out of my purchases the lids are so hard to open that for one in four jars I have to break it open breaking plastic pieces off with a hammer and screwdriver and then replace with an existing lid If I do get the lid open the foil seal us also faulty If peanut butter can give me a foil seal with a tab that pulls it open you can too I waste time and some of my overtone product with EVERY purchse trying to get IN to my color

Didn t do what I needed

it definitely colors your hair just not the greys at all so if you re hoping for that I wouldn t bother I have hair dye allergy so I thought I would try this I had no irritation so that was great

I needed to talk with someone and all I got was pages of discussion of the color wheel I used rose gold for my medium brown hair and it was pink when I just wanted highlights and nothing pink Maybe I chose the wrong sample color but needed help

Ginger isn t really ginger

I ordered ginger color conditioner previously and it was too brown so I have to add extreme orange to get it to a true ginger You should tweek the color so it is a true ginger and not light brown

Hit on the reds miss on the magenta and purple

I tried out my 4 overtone colors tonight I want to give a full 5 stars for two of them vibrant red and ginger because the color is rich and saturated and my hair is so smooth and healthy feeling but I can only offer two stars for the vibrant purple because it left almost no color on my hair at all and the vibrant magenta was basically pastel pink and also left almost no color There was nothing vibrant about those two The formula is nice the conditioning aspect is nice but the colors seem to be hit or miss Also there is no grey coverage at all I was adding color over a medium bleached blond I guess I expected a little more because of the sample photos shown on the website - they did show vibrant or at least noticeable colors for the purple and the magenta
