Same thing happened to me as Sal - got the 500 card for retirement in May and forgot about it found it today opened the package checked the balance to see it had been used at some cannabis store in Norman Oklahoma The support person said not much they can do since it happened over 60 days ago in October So if you get a low value card then it gets used up with the service fees if you get a high value card then somehow the information on it gets leaked out for someone else to use Just give cash

Just like the other comments stay away from this card This Perfect Gift is a complete scam that slowly depletes your funds without you ever knowing it in the first place That expiration date written on the card Don t bother about it because good chances your card will erode to 0 before it hits it You d like explanations on what kind of maintenance is required on your card Good luck with getting to talk to anybody or get anything useful from their customer service You re better off giving a cash envelope or an electronic transfer instead Awful product from an awful company

This is taking advantage of the customer s trust I have purchased 100 visa card and not using that for some time I tried to use a card after a while BEFORE THE EXPIRY DATE and I noticed there is only 50 on it I called customer service and they said although it is not expired if you do not use it for a certain time you only get 50 of it Avoid THE PERFECT GIFT CARD

Not only is there an activation charge but once these cards expire they charge a 3 per month maintenance fee meaning your balance can be zero in a very short time Just give actual gift cards or cash for gifts This company is BS

Horrible experience NEVER BUY A VISA GIFT CARD AGAIN - I would give them negative stars if I could Too much pain I tried to use this card multiple times and it was always rejected I called the company many times to get a replacement I never received it and now they can t give me a replacement because this company CHARGES A HIGH MONTHLY FEE and takes your money UNTIL YOUR BALANCE IS ZERO I don t think this practice is legal and if it is they should eliminate it for the customer protection They make sure to charge a monthly fee on your gift card and make sure you won t be able to use it until they have taken all your money

I received The Perfect Gift 100 00 it s anything but perfect it s actually a complete rip off I hadn t used the card and actually had forgotten about it just found it in the desk and decided to check the balance only to find out that it s only got 52 left They started charging the 3 a month after the first 12 months of reviewing the card I never activated it The more frustrating thing is trying to contact them about it you get the literal runaround it just keeps telling you to contact the merchant first then contact them you select the option to say you e already done that it then gives you three options 1 back to mail menu 2 don t need any further assistance 3 hang up What the bleep is that so my options are back to the main menu have you hang up on me or I can hang up with no answers at all just ripped off DON T BUY THIS CARD

I bought a 200 prepaid MasterCard perfect gift credit card Once I opened it within minutes the money disappeared to a store in Egypt I contacted MasterCard only be insulted as they insinuated that I was a thief and a liar Then they led me in circles and eventually ignored me Yes the Perfect rip off If I could give them negative star reviews well I m sure everybody would I should have known better than to trust a bunch of corporate thieves

Disgusting abuse of consumer trust Our son received a 40 Visa Perfect Gift card He spent 25 and then saved the balance When he went to use the remaining 15 he discovered that it was gone After one year Visa started debiting a 3 monthly service fee on a positive balance Not only is a fee charged at the time of purchase the company then starts charging a fee for the privilege of holding his funds -- essentially stealing money from a child They took 37 5 of the value Not sure how this isn t criminal Disgusting
