"Recently slow to make payments on illnesses"

The company has always provided great service The wellness payments are quick and almost immediate The ill was payments are taking longer and longer for reimbursement Simple illnesses that only have one vet engaged Waiting a month for a payment for receipt items at regular vet Recent response times is why I reduced my review stars from previous years

"Ok but does not live up to name"

After having for about a year it might have been a bit pricey The customer service is great Claims are a bit slow and the wellness coverage only covered like half the costs for annual physical I have old dogs so they need physicals 2 times a year some basicly covered less then a 1 4 the physical cost It is hard to tell what they define as existing and not The other thing I am not sure is standard or not is they take the co-pay out then figure deductible

"As grateful as we are for Pet s Best "

As grateful as we are for Pet s Best covering our pups emergency surgery it took over a month to hear back about her claim They did email us twice to apologize for the delay which was nice Just wish we could have had a result sooner Customer service over the phone is always pleasant

Good Fast response to this last claim Bad Like all Pet Insurers minimal benefits for wellness claims

"Claims take too long to process"

Typically takes more than one month to process a claim which seems unreasonable to me When I signed up for Pets Best there were assurances and reviews that said claims were processed quickly I don t consider 6-8 weeks quickly Now that I understand the app and have it on my phone it is easy to file a claim but it took me several trys and a few claims later to learn how to do it

"The cost per month has gone up "

The cost per month has gone up astronomically this year A few dollars a month every year makes sense but this last year s hike sucked And it takes a long time to process which isn t a big deal but for what we re paying now I feel like that s rough Re reply Over 6 years my dogs insurance slowly went up 42 Now this coming year it s going up 36 over last year The increase over time has been okay this year has just been way more than any other year just about the same as my over all increase in the previous 5 renewals This has nothing to do with each dog getting a small increase and everything to do with nearly doubling the costs since I got it

"Good insurance but very slow"

Insurance covers a lot but claims take forever to get returned So don t expect the reimbursement for at least a month Plus my vet is not listed on their app so it takes longer for me due to having to only do email correspondence

"Sufficient but can find better "

Since having PetsBest from 2021 to present my experience has been sufficient My premium has gone up from 60ish to 80 They ve had to review at least 2-3 claims because a representative coded my items wrong thus making me wait longer to receive funds Additionally a few meds my pup has been on are not covered-- which does not make sense as there are DIRECT meds to cure illnesses Most meds are more costly due to his weight so it defeats the purpose of having insurance at times Customer service has been fine and are always accessible I will more than likely switch over once I find a company that better suits my pups needs

"Wellness issues"

Pets best has good accident illness insurance but I wish the wellness was just one lump sum that you use with all services and not an individual amount for each service annually I feel like o would get more for my money I wish you had a kitten wellness option too

"The recent claim process was an appeal "

The recent claim process was an appeal for total nonpayment of a prior claim I had filed The entire process has been incredibly frustrating mostly due to bad communication The habit of sending out boiler plate emails and not having ANY means of emailing someone about the claim is not good practice in this day and age I work two jobs It took several calls to finally get someone to escalate this matter I was finally reimbursed after a review of the claim which I am happy about but all this aggravation could have been avoided I was never even given and explanation about what happened I pay my premiums on time but I have to wait an extra month for the reimbursement Response to Pets Best You have my phone number Have a supervisor call me
