"Still waiting for my reimbursement"

Still waiting for my reimbursement again It never is a speedy process and I always end up getting that apology email while they figure out my claim I m so tired of paying so much money to have to wait so long to get my money back

That you don t cover nutrition as an essential part of a dog s health when considered in the context of alleviating life-threatening illness is appalling My 12-year old female terrier mix has IBD a life-threatening incurable condition that must be carefully controlled through dietary modifications My veterinarian nutritionist herself has had many an argument with insurance companies over the failure of coverage for such procedures

"Just bad all around"

I m so disappointed with this company It took almost 4wks to get the claim processed and I got less than half of the cost of my pets vet visit back I haven t gotten the money yet tho Just the decision on how much they would pay My step mom has Lemonade pet insurance and got her money back SAME DAY and she got the ACTUAL 90 back

"Canceling both of my policies "

Sunny is the rep I spoke with regarding my claims One dogs was approved and the otherwise still pending Claims were submitted on 11 29 23 one says its was paid on December 6 but bank has still not received it and the other although the same Wellness claim as the first still has not even been approved When I questioned Sunny regarding this I was told it is not our problem if the bank doesn t process the direct deposit It is no almost 2 weeks and that s the attitude I get I would like to can El both policy s I will be moving to another carrier Phone call was 12 9 23 I am not going to spend over 100 a month to be treated like that

"Took a long time to process my claims "

It took you 29 days to process my claim I had to call twice A week apart both times Every time they told me we don t know what s taking so long I even asked if there was anything I could do to help They said call back at 30 days and we can dispute the claims to see what is taking so long and magically the day before the 30 days the claims were finished I understand you re a busy company but I pay a lot monthly for this service and I would just respect timely service in return

"I don t feel the claims are thoroughly reviewed and researched before determining denials "

I don t feel the claims are thoroughly investigated It s amazing how when there is no reimbursement the claims happen quickly However when there is a more complicated scenario it takes longer to even begin the claim process They ask when we submit the info to further elaborate but then that information is NEVER read I explained my dog had a collision with my other one and knocked her front tooth loose I was concerned so I wanted it removed right away In addition my dog from 1-2 years ago had another tooth that was fractured but due to financial hardships didn t have the funds to have immediately extracted The vet understood and said unless she has complications it can remain We were planning on doing this in 2024 but when she collided with our other dog we decided to gave both teeth extracted at once Well the claims was denied bc they ASSUMED it was periodontal disease which she never had They were were fractured one from excessive chewing on something she shouldn t have gotten and another bc of a face on collision with our other dog who is bigger while they were playing This has happened more than once and it s extremely infuriating when you pay high premiums Already over 4 wks and will need to wait longer on a 700 claim

"I have to wait 13 months to get my dogs "

I have to wait 13 months to get my dogs teeth fixed What kind of service is that If I take my dog to the vet and he has teeth that are rotting I refuse to wait over a year so that the infection could spread to his heart I rescued him almost 2yrs ago and when we rescued him we found out he has bad teeth At the time 15 teeth were rotting and insurance barley covered anything Now we were told he had a few rotting teeth so i took him back for extraction and 0 was covered from almost 700 that i paid out of pocket What s the point of paying for this insurance if you don t cover what my pet needs

I send in all what my vet gives me I have had to call claims 4or 5 times received no money from the start of my policy 7 1 2023 I finally receive 2 checks in Dec now I am told the need something else before they can finish a claim I spent 20 00 faxing you everything I have
